Great service and the food is everything you would expect from a big boy. All day breakfast and buffet. Lunch is great with a... soup and salad bar. While we were here this time Shaun our waiter gave us 2 free kids meal voucher as part of a communityoutreach that he set up with his district manager... there are definitely good people left in this world. The place was clean and not very busy. The fish and fries were cooked to a good color. The fish tasted like fish sticks and... the fries were unsalted. The Texas toast had perfect color but was cut with the grill scraper and had a solid line of brown/wetcrumbs making it taste disgusting. I told my very inattentive waitress and she did nothing about it. I was not seeking anydiscount as the meal was pretty inexpensive. Another, properly cut piece of toast would have been welcomed. Staying in theback and letting someone else check me out was probably not the best choice. That checkout person did not ask me how my mealwas but did so to the person in front of me and behind me. What a great place eat and chill out. Service was fast. The food was fresh, hot and really good.The menu has changed. Mostly... sandwiches, sides, drinks, dessert,breakfast and a sufficient salad bar with soups. No dinners. This Frisch's was super cleaninside and out. It's been awhile since I visited a Frisch's restaurant. I'll admit there's a nostalgia factor there for me. Still though it's a... nice family restaurant. We stopped on the spur of the moment and weren't disappointed. Given the inflation rates today the pricewas reasonable and the food was good. We stuck to the tried and true Big Boy burgers and onion rings. Our food was brought tothe table quickly and piping hot. As always Frisch's coffee was delicious. Our server Wendy was very efficient and a pleasure totalk with. A special shout out to her for laughing at my silly dad jokes! A happy, friendly server is always a plus.
