I had a "Costcoburger" for lunch there, but yes the ingredients were fresh. Service was very nice and let me park a barely... fitting truck after aborting a downtown Truckee lunch due to crowded madness. I'm glad I had a noncorporate lunch in belovedTruckee and they were there, though the food was not great. Read more

I really want to like this place, as it is a charming little building. I believe they are understaffed, as the friendly cashier... handling money and operating the register also prepared the food (without gloves, and without handwashing). Due to the sanitaryconcerns I would steer clear until they sort this out, as it's always unsettling to see someone touching raw ingredients afteranswering the phone, giving change, or using a dirty register. I don't understand all the rave reviews. The only reason I gave it two stars was for the cold beer on tap. The pizza was... undercooked, so the crust was flat and soggy and the onions were basically raw. The side Caesar salads were ok but served inchipped bowls, and I had to go ask the girl at the counter to bring it to us. No a/c, so it was hot. $60 for just the two ofus, before tip. Read more
My Grandson and I stopped in after spending the morning out on Donner Lake fishing. We needed food before going home in... Roseville. Pizza is always a favorite for my grandson. I was surprised that they did pizza by the slice. Excellent bonus sincethe kid likes cheese pizza and I'm a combination kinda guy. Their sliced pizza is Jumbo Slice. Also a great bonus for us. 1slice each was filling enough to get us home. I was actually surprised my grandson finished his slice since he's a light eater.Which mens the pizza was real good.
