Oh wow. I've been told by man folks to visit Red Truck and never got around to it. It's excellent! After 1 meal, it's going... to be moving into my rotation of favorites here in Truckee! Delicious food that comes flying out of the kitchen. It's quick, fresh, delicious, and healthy?count me in! The outdoor seating... is next to the runway, which sounds odd but is actually quite beautiful. The tables are comfortable with good shade, and theTruckee airport is hardly busy, so it's not really loud at all. I had an excellent business lunch there with a partner, and thethree of us enjoyed our meals very much for not a lot of money. I'll definitely keep it in mind for an easy option when I'm inthe area! Red Truck is by far the best food in Truckee, CA. I went there over 4 times in a week vacation to Truckee. I am a vegetarian and... everything there appealed to me, as well as my boyfriend (who eats a lot of meat), loved the food. The samosas were the best Ihave ever had.... perfectly cooked. The entire staff was so delightful, especially the Chef and owner (Larry Abney) who is aworld renowned chef and he blew my mind with how amazing the food was. I am definitely coming back next year, and the for therest of my life. 11/10 restaurant.... go and see for yourself!!!!!! Read more

Very good unique food. They give an Indian twist to normal breakfast and lunch food, while all are good some have an acquired... taste. Can?t argue about the views of the apron though! And their is a nice groomed are of grass for sitting down or dogs. Read more
I ordered the Chicken Tikka naan sandwich and it was yummy! I also thought the cookie was a nice satisfying treat to my sweet... tooth addiction. The great part about this is that you get to see private jets take off and land while you're eating. It was abit noisy and windy that day, but overall a great experience. Def worth checking out this hidden gem while you're near LakeTahoe. Read more
Stopped by here to get some lunch after skiing. I was really surprised by this place, as I wasn't expecting such unique and... delicious food from a small airport cafe. I had the Naan Hot Dog and my Lady had the samosas and a salad. The food wasflavorful and prepared quickly. They have a nice outside patio next to the landing strip, with a playground and great views ofthe mountains. A great place to grab lunch on the way out of town when you're done skiing. Read more
