Food is outstanding. My husband and I ordered the chicken tacos and the homemade tortillas were so cute and extremely... delicious. However, as the food was superb, the hospitality was to not. The moment we walked in the staff looked at us up anddown then sat us to a table. We felt unwelcome and made us feel awkward being there. Patrick was very nice to us. BecauseParick and the food were great, we left him a very nice tip. In short, food quality is rated 5/5 but hospitality 0/5. It isbecause this my husband and I will not return. Thank you, Patrick!! If the menu draws you here like it did us, then know you will not be disappointed. The meals are elegant and thoughtful. Dinner... reservations are practically required because the place is small. Every table was in use on a Saturday night. Walk-ins only forbreakfast: Saturday and Sunday morning (Memorial Day Weekend) there were tables available. Read more

Although they're short staffed like everyone these days, the service and dining experience at Stella was everything I was hoping... for and more! This was my first time in, I don't eat out much at all because I have severe food allergies and the chef was ableto accommodate those perfectly! I loved the cauliflower barbacoa. Tyler was a great host and made everyone feel welcome to dinein without full table service. I read a book and had one of the best dinners out to eat in town that I've had in a while! Read more
When I walked into the restaurant, I didn’t know what was in store for me. All the food is creative, delicious, and local. The... sauces are superb and every dish is perfectly curated. We came back for dinner again the following night to try the rest of themenu, including all of the mouth watering desserts. The service is also amazing. When we joined them for the third day in a row,this time for breakfast, we accidentally thought we had ordered pastries when we didn’t but after the meal they gave us one ofeach of the fresh, delightful pastries to go. I’m afraid I’ll have to visit Truckee again from the Bay Area just for Stella.Thank you for this top-class experience. Read more
Had a wonderful dinner here. The food was delicious and included ample vegan options. To top it off, the wait staff and hosts... were friendly, helpful and exceptional at their jobs. We loved it so much we had planned to go back tonight. We ended up havingto cancel our booking, however, as my husband picked up a cold. The staff were completely understanding and helped me order foodto go instead. We will definitely eat here again when we visit Truckee. Read more
