Staying at the Ritz-Carlton at Northstar, wanted to try a much different experience, a true locals experience to watch the game... and drink some beer and eat some food. There's a lot of other options more upscale, geared towards visitors with more gourmetfood than burgers, chicken fingers, and fries, but if you want simple tavern food with a huge beer selection and to hangoutamongst locals and not tourists, this IS the place to go. I can't emphasize how great the beer/cider selection is. Wineavailable too I believe. A totally casual Apres-Ski local hangout. Not a big place with a lot of room to sit so get thereearly or be prepared for standing room only during peak times. Read more

Excellent beer selection but it could be less expensive. They even have a barrel aged ale that's very good, but $18. Their... Prickly Pearadise cider is decent as well. Read more

Ribs were fall off the bone tender, slightly spicy BBQ sauce was great, good price for a growler of cider.

Don?t order food here if you have high expectations. The menu items sound adventurous and delicious, reminiscent of trendy... fusion restaurants in NYC. However, expectation...meet reality. The first warning sign was no one else was eating at 7pm on aSunday, only drinking. We were still intrigued with the menu and decided to give the food a try. Second warning sign - theywere out of chicken when we ordered. How does a restaurant run out of CHICKEN?? We all ordered individual menu items but foodcame out dish by dish, with at least a 5 minute gap between each one. Dishes were barebones and looked like the chef had beenthrown a fancy menu and told to do the best he could. We definitely could have made more appetizing dishes at home. Dishes werealso missing ingredients and the meat on my gyro tasted sour. No complaints about their beer selection if you?re just there todrink, but it is pretty hard to mess up beer. Definitely a local spot, especially on Sundays. Read more
