I've had great meals a few times but today was hamburger and brew which I love hamburgers and thinking its going to be a... outstanding hamburger. Salt and more salt in the hamburger and French fries. So had the hamburger taken back because I justcouldn't eat it. Got another one and sorry to say still had alot of salt maybe not as much. I don't like having a tip in thetotal of my bill that should be up to me. Two brews and two hamburgers 79 dollars later.???????? Read more

If you’re visiting Truckee and have to pick only one place to eat, this is the one. Best overall dining experience I’ve had... in a very long time. Food was delicious and complex and service was excellent. Good value for what you’ll pay. Can’t wait tocome back and try next season’s menu. Read more
Wife and I had a lovely 10 course tasting with them a few days ago and we’re still talking about it. The food quality was... spectacular, the service is excellent, great wine list and a comfortable setting. Every single course was imaginative, deliciousand wonderfully presented. We came for our engagement celebration, and we absolutely loved the experience. It was my fiancée's first time trying fine... cuisine and she was overall impressed. We got the four course tasting menu with the wine pairing, and I thought it wasreasonable for the price. My fiancée is vegetarian, so we couldn't try the 10-course meal hut we would've loved to. I wouldcertainly recommend getting the wine pairing if you go here: it really elevates every dish to the next level. We had a smallcomplaint with the red wine selection with the steak/onigiri pairing, so the server graciously let us try the Chianti which wasmuch better. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants a fine dining experience in the Tahoe area. I'veeaten at Michelin star restaurants and I think this easily measures up to a 1 star Michelin dining experience. Read more
Woooowwwww! So glad we went here. We were hesitant at the outset when we tried to sit outside given the limited options and... prices. However once we got going we were glad we decided to stay. The chefs tasting menu was truly special and something akinto a Michelin quality restaurant we’d have in the City. Can’t describe how delicious each dish was because it would takeforever but I’m glad we memorialized each one with a quick photo to relive the special moments. Favorites were the “walk inthe woods”, Rossini, black truffle pasta, and the olive oil ice cream. The wine flight was also superb. The service was alsotop notch, Jared and his team went out of their way to make the night special. Even at the end of the night he maderecommendations of other Truckee spots, none failed us. Overall a very memorable dining experience which we would happilyrepeat. We’ll be back soon. Read more
We enjoyed the prix fixe menu on a Friday night and we're really pleased. The dishes were elegantly presented and the wine... pairings were fabulous. The food was a bit rich for me, but for other palates it might be the perfect thing for a winter eveningmeal. The atmosphere is peaceful but lively and the service was great. I gush! Absolutely a 1 Michelin Star experience. The flavor and texture of everything I ate was exactly what it should be.... Perfectly executed but creatively done as well. The plating and presentation was stunning and the dress code was come as you arewhich was nice. I wasn’t drinking at the time but my friends loved the wine and I had a really nice virgin bloody mary. Staffwas friendly and relaxed like they actually enjoyed their job; no forced politeness or air of stress from anyone. Honestly justa lovely time.
