A wonderful place to grab some delicious Italian dishes. Serving are generous and you most likely have some take home. A bit... noisy but friendly staff and good service. Lovely family owned restaurant! They were swamped when we got there, but we were seated right away and the owner took our drink... orders. The lasagna was really yummy!! The pizza was very good but wish we would have ordered it thin/crispy crust. We willdefinitelybe back. Read more

Had high hopes.. we are staying 6 mins away and they have good reviews and pictures of well done pizza. We got it home and it?s... completely undercooked. We don?t even have a stove at the rental to cook it. The presentation looks great but id never spendmoney on it again. Maybe they mixed up and gave us one of their half baked. I don?t know. This place provided prompt, polite and pleasant service and the food was some of the best we?ve had in Truckee. Let me start... this review by clarifying that this is not a fancy restaurant. It is closer to a midrange sports bar that has good food and afun vibe. They had a football game playing on all the TVs (no sound), easily visible if you wanted to watch the game. They takegood care of the kids. They provide crayons and coloring sheets. They have many options for kids meals. Or kids said this wasthe best pasta they?ve ever had at a restaurant. Adult meals were great, too. Wife had a shrimp dish and I had spaghettibolognese with a side of blue cheese salad. Everything was phenomenal. The salad used real blue cheese, not just crumbs. Weordered the crazy Italian which we don?t recommend as it?s a really strong rum taste. Unless you like rum, in which case, go forit. We then got a margarita which was very good. We?ll be back. Highly recommend this place in the truckee/donner area. This is the second time we have been here and they don?t disappoint.... Everything was so good. The service is fantastic and everyone is super nice. Prices are reasonable. Also, they have a shop withall kinds of jerky, wines, hot sauce, and gifts, it?s a pretty cool atmosphere. There?s a lot to say about this place. We?ll start with the food. Not great. Veggies are over cooked, white sauce is bland,... marinara is lacking, chicken parmigiana was overcooked. Portion sizes for kids are outrageous. A kids chicken parm is the samesize as the adult chicken parm, but the adult parm is significantly more expensive. A little in the higher side for kid?s mealsin price. Service was okay. Not very attentive, but at least the food is prepared quickly. Restaurant is a bit run down by wayof appearance and utilities (tables/chairs, etc). The game room is pricey and the games malfunction or are broken. Will notreturn. Would not recommend for most.
