I ordered take out. Upon my arrival I pulled up to the first parking spot. (5 minute time limit). I saw the hostess roll her... eyes.(probably thought I was going to dine in) I walk in and she's like picking up? I said yes. Then she points to the girlbehind the counter. The girl behind the counter was clearly flustered. Especially since she didn't bother to make eye contact orsay Hi. "Name? " No big deal. She when over to counter and saw my cold meal was not complete. So she went to the back and gotthe rest of it. Think she verified for completion before bagging? NO! I asked for 2 Cannoli... that was a huff. Hostess camebehind counter and filled them. I get home... food order incomplete. ??????? I called to speak to manager.... "he'll call youtomorrow". Did he, nope. It's sad because the food here is good. However for the price you expect to get good service and acompleted order. Oh and please stop leaving pick up orders by the counter with an open door where everyone that orders, does soon top of your food. Read more
On 09/11/2022, I accepted a DoorDash order for this restaurant around 8:30 PM or so (my first and last time ever accepting an... order for this restaurant). I walked into the restaurant and your Hostess (I’m assuming that’s what she was) did not greetme - instead she literally turned her nose up at me, began to run her fingers through her hair & stare at me up and down whilefixating on my feet? I stood there and watched her as she did this. After about two minutes, I finally speak up and simply ask“Hi, do you work here?” She FINALLY speaks and says “yeah.” I tell her I’m there to pick up a DD order and show her myphone. She then points to two boxes on the counter and says “it’s right there”. She had an attitude the entire time andall I did was walk into the restaurant and I was very respectful. I don’t know who this woman is but again I am assuming sheworks as a Hostess. She was wearing a blue dress, had brown hair (that she played with *unsanitary* while looking me up and downwith disgust.) Yes, I am a black woman and I will be filing a complaint. It’s 2022 and if that’s how you are going to treatpeople who walk into your restaurant to simply pick up food for paying customers then maybe you should be removed theDoorDash’s platform. I’ve worked as a Hostess, I’ve traveled the world and have been to many restaurants - I have neverexperienced such blatant disrespect and racism like this before (it was written all over her face) I have several family,friends and associates in the Bridgeport/Trumbull area and I will be sure to share this review with all of them. Again, this was(I’m assuming) your Hostess - an older Caucasian woman (maybe late 40’s/early 50’s) wearing a blue dress on 09/11/2022 whodid not greet me or ask if I needed assistance with anything but instead stared at me up and down with disgust as if I didn’tbelong in the restaurant. Great meal close the Sacred Heart. Staff was super nice. Most of the food was very good. Veggie panini was good but could... have used some spices to give it some flavor. Total bill was reasonable for 6 of us. Read more
Fried Ravioli (pretty good), pizza Carni (awesome!), and the Nutella banana coconut Crêpe (amazing) for dessert. Then I had a... decaf affogato to end the night. The food was fantastic and Romanacci has easily become one of our favorite places. Enjoy!! Read more
This place is pricey. I'll say that first straight out this place is very expensive if you're eating with multiple people. For... one person it's fine. So they have this gluten-free crust. I had to call and ask if the crust was gluten-free because it's avery good knock off. It's flaky it baked well. It's crunchy doesn't have that nasty aftertaste of gluten-free food that we allgluten-free people know too well. It is so good. I think it's even better than the regular crust honestly. Amazing. Phenomenal pizza. Nice staff. Food is presented nicely. My only complaint would be that I had multiple seeds in the orange that... was one of the ingredients of my agrumi salad. Read more
Stopped in for lunch and had a great meal. Had a tasty panini with some fresh made friends and was very happy with the quality... and taste. They had a decent variety of beer on tap for local harder to find crafts. Definitely a good meal and will be tryingout for dinner sometime as well because the bartender recommended. parppadelle Read more
