Love their scallops. Crunchy crumb batter, juicy scallops underneath. Big - two bite scallops..yum.. burgers are OK too. But the... scallops are a definite. Am trying the ' hamburger poutine tonite, so stay tuned for the skinny on that!.. Food is good hot,the staff tries hard to accommodate special requests, always. I have been coming here seasonally, in the summer now for at least11 yrs.. have not eaten inside ever, but always enjoy the food. It can take awhile but the wait is worth it. Best scallopsanywhere locally, at the very least...4 stars, only because of the price. And yes, I acknowledge seafood isn't inexpensive,anywhere, ever.. for the large scallops, 1 pce of haddock, and hamburger pouting, was $33, as of the summer of 2022. Called in a order for pick up, couldn't get Inside , door was locked. Called back and said here for a order , they said you have... to come through drive through we are locked inside. Why take orders over the phone if you have to go through drive through.Anyway I am nit understanding the issue of not open only except drive through , watched 3 people try to get in and nobody could.People left. Our favourite spot to stop on our way through! Food is great quality, fresh and made fresh to order. Breaded fish is generous... chunks of fish, lobster roll had big claw chunks, flavourful fresh cut fries. May wait a little longer in the drive thru than achain burger joint, but it's because the food is made fresh. Advanced tip, drive back under the highway to picnic style yourmeal at the info centre. Never going back... Burger was super thin and hard. Small portion when it comes to the fish. Fish was mostly batter.. The only... good thing about this place was the fries.. Staff were not that polite either.. Didn't receive any coleslaw with order.. Read more
Had the English style fish and home cut fries with a piece of chicken. It has been years since I had been to a "Deluxe"... franchise. The fish was fresh and the batter was to my liking. I think Deluxe has the second best tasting fries for a fast foodrestaurant. And the chicken was tasty too. I'll be back for a visit soon. Can't wait! Read more
Good food but absurdly slow. I literally can't afford to waste my time coming here anymore. I went once on my lunch break and... ordered a meal, and spent my ENTIRE BREAK waiting in the line. They either need to hire more staff or train the ones they dohave better. Read more
