Ordered From here tonight and was so disappointed in the quality of food for the price I paid for it it should have been... gold Plated ?. We had the chicken balls , chicken fried rice , garlic spare ribs , egg rolls and Cantonese chow mien ?bland tosay the least ? egg rolls were mush inside ?chicken balls were mediocre at best and just overall disappointing? if your going tocharge high prices for your food , it?s best be the highest quality and this place is not ?this place had such a greatreputation for the longest time but the past 2 times I?ve had the same experience hence the review Read more

Poor quality food - from the egg rolls and sweet and sour meatballs but especially the chow mein. Paid $75 for a very poor... quality meal. The cook must never have been taught or learned how to cook Chinese food. Will NEVER go back here. Read more

Ordered the chicken fried rice and the general tao chicken tonight for supper. Got home tried a bite of the rice. It was so over... cooked it was soggy and tasted like nothing but water. The chicken wasnt a little spicy like normal, it was sweet and sour.Called the restaurant to complain as the food is literally not edible to be told she will re do my order. I had to tell her 3times I dont want to drive into town again to try again, that I just wanted a refund as the food was disgusting the first time Iwasnt taking a chance again. She said sorry we don't do that here. So I said goodluck with your business then cuz 32.00 isridiculous for what I got. A 4 year old couldve cooked better. Will not be a returning customer and Ive eaten here plenty overthe 8 years ive lived here and this is absolutely sad for the quality of food your serving. If you dont care about yourcustomers and your not willing to make it right then how do you expect to survive? Read more

Must say after reading a lot of recent comments and the overall negativity I was leary of trying this place however I learned... they offer fried ginger beef ( my fav!) so I took my Mom there this evening for supper to say thanks for the love and supportshe has offered me over the years. folks, everything we had, the ginger beef, combo 7 with rice, chicken balls, chow mien(amazing), spare ribs, combo 9 also with rice and chicken balls but also general Tao chicken, and don?t get me started on theiregg rolls?.absolutely delicious, hot and crispy?.mmmmmmm. All of this and 2 beverages was only $53!!!! Definitely coming back, job well done! Read more

I would say the food could definitely do with a little improvement. Fried rice was overcooked and mushy, egg noodles seemed hard... and should have been cooked a little more. Fried wontons should have had some meat filling and not just fried dough. The placethough was nice and Courtney was very friendly and pleasant. Won't be my first choice for next time. Read more

Disappointing. My sweet and sour pork seemed soft so I cut it open and realized it was 70% filler/batter.

Wow! Seriously disappointed with Ho Ho's. I haven't been in years, but have told many people Ho Ho's is THE SPOT for Chinese in... Truro. Ordered the #6 ( sweet & sour ribs, sweet& sour scallops, chow mein & chicken fried rice). The rice was overcooked, mushyand sweet flavored ( not at all fried rice like), the ribs( there were 3) were dry. The scallops,if you could call themscallops, I'm pretty sure it was punched out fish.If they were scallops, they should call them scallops slivers. I'll postpics. Sorry I told anyone to get their Chinese from here! Read more
