Potato so small wanted to find out where it?s mom is!!! So cold would not melt the butter, had to have them MICROWAVE IT!!!! One... person running drive through and front, oh yes, had to stand there 10 minutes before someone came to take order. Only then foranother couple people came in!!!! Worse EVER PLACE TO EAT!!! I'd give this place negative stars if I could. I put in an order for TWO pieces of chicken for my 2 yo son and after waiting 20... minutes in line to confirm my order I'm told to drive around and when I pull into the online order parking spots and attempt togo inside, the doors are locked 2 hours before the dining room is supposed to be, even though there's another customer insidewaiting on food. They see us standing there trying to explain that I have an online order (which I have always picked up insideafter confirming my order) but instead of trying to be helpful, they decided to laugh and snicker at us through the windows. I'musually never a Karen and I hate leaving negative reviews but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a fast foodplace. They were incredibly rude and I just left and took the L because that was ridiculous. No one should have to wait an hourfor fast food, had I got back in line like they expected me to, I would have. Fish where small not at all like they use to be.hushpuppies where delicious and so was the malt vinegar..since I'm typing this... stuff at the moment????????????????????it was the first time at this location but if i roll up to your establishment looking forfood and you say closing is at ten and it's nine 15 or 930.and tell me your closed after i give you the order . I should get tostand outside and throw fish stic at you .one for every thing i was already munching on in my mind mouth..that is what theTrussville Alabama store does . Captain D's Google hours say they're open until 11:00pm. The hours on the door say they're open until 11:00. They in fact close... at 10:46, because they took the order of the young ladies in front of us at 10:45, and proceeded to tell us they're closed at10:46. I'm not complaining about them closing early, but please update your advertised hours to 10:45. Read more
Bad Experience on Thursday May 5, 2022 at the Trussville location. I had a gift card that a 75 year old lady had gifted me with... for my birthday. I was on my way to class and had left home almost forty miles away extra early just to get Captain D's for mydinner before class. The young lady took the order and said drive around. I went on to the drive thru window, I was given thetotal, she handed me the food, I gave her the gift card etc. The young lady then said that the card wasn't working. She scannedit and swiped it. Another young person came to the window and tried to help out, she said the same thing, then said with anattitude what are you going to do, pay for it? I said that I couldn't because I had no money, I only had that card. That youngperson leaned forward and took the bag out of my hands before calling the manager to see if they could check the card or make itwork. I thought that was rude of her. I don't plan to ever visit that location again and none of my people will go there againeither. Read more
Enjoyed my dine in experience! My husband and I enjoyed our meal and your service this Monday around 5pm. We did not experience... a long wait or a lack of service. In fact I was extremely pleased with the young lady who took our order and the young man whobrought our meal to the table (he even stopped to ask if we enjoyed our meal as we were leaving). I dine out often and havebegun to get used to the higher costs with below average service, but that was not the case on this occasion. Read more
