The young ladies who worked the counter and brought out my food were just DIAMONDS. So polite and cheerful to an old Wookie like... me. Fast service one the plate I ordered. Meat was hot and fresh. BBQ should taste like this. Sauce was not too hot oroverpowering; just right. Sides were delicious. Beans were hardy and full of meat. Fries were too hot too eat. I had troublefinishing my plate but I did so. Was stuffed for hours. ;). I will return at next chance. Read more
Both the smoked chicken sandwich & catfish plate were tasty. Baked beans are spicy, Cole slaw is tangy, potato salad as... expected. A bit disappointing that they were out of banana pudding before noon. Read more
The barbecue was delicious and seasoned well. I would've like but more sauce or additional sauce cup for the ribs. The sides... were good, just was not expecting a 3 to 4 oz container. If sides container were bigger it would definitely be five stars. Read more
Excellent BBQ dishes. Best Hush Puppies and Catfish ! Gotta try the Redneck Nacho platter too.
First time here, and it was absolutely delicious!! I had the wing platter with broccoli cheese casserole, homemade potato chips,... and cornbread. I also got to try the banana pudding, which was amazing and fluffy and light. The wings were cooked perfectly andjust messy enough! Definitely coming back when I get a chance. Read more
The Moe's location in Trussville is the cat's pajamas! I tried their pulled pork sandwich, collards with sausage, and fried... green tomatoes. The tomatoes were delightfully crunchy, with excellent gooey tomatoes. An awesome contrast in textures thatleft me wanting more!! The collards weren't super watery, a sin most places commit. Still solid and together, and a greatflavor with andouille sausage mixed in. Don't get me started on this sandwich! Like with many great BBQ restaurants my noseimmediately took in the tantalizing aroma of slow smoked pork and chicken. The sauce had a little kick, and wasn't super sweet.I'd recommend all smokey meat fans to try their super sandwich selection. The service is fast casual, with VERY fast service toyour table. Excellent. Had the Small Rib Platter and the ribs were lightly sauced, smokey, and had a great bite mark. The slaw was a light... sweet vinegar, and the plate was served with lightly toasted corn bread. Staff was friendly and helpful. Their normal sauce ismildly spicey. Lunch for one = $15. Read more
Visited for dinner and customer service was horrible! We were not greeted, and even though we spoke, the waitress did not speak... back. We found out later it was because she had earbuds in her ears. The cook had to practically beg the cashier to take ourorders. After bringing out our food , the waitress never came back to check on us to see if we enjoyed the food, neededanything else, or even to say,' Is everything ok?" I really hate that I tipped when I paid for my meals; otherwise, I would nothave tipped. Service was terrible and not deserving of 20%- maybe 2% and that's stretching it! We thought maybe it was ourgroup, but as other customers came in, they were greeted with the same lack of enthusiasm. As for the food, the BBQ and wingswere ok. The sides were deplorable and tasteless. The fountain Pepsi was very good! I'm not sure if it was kinda late and theywere ready to go home or what, but this was the worst service I've ever had in my life! Would not recommend and will neverreturn. Read more
