Upscale atmosphere and spacious seating dominate this trendy bar with amazing breakfast options. A cool retro vibe with jazz... rock on in the air make for a comfortable feel. I started with one of their many breakfast cocktails and ordered the smoked hamskillet. With options including varied Benedict's, omelettes, steak, shrimp with grits, biscuits and gravy, waffles and friedchicken, there is sure to be something for everyone. The remodel is amazing and created a destination for any occasion. Location is perfect. We had a private party with the best... pulled pork nachos as a starter, followed by steak and chicken with marble potatoes. The staff and management made it a specialoccasion for our family. From the moment we walked in and throughout our time dining, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered fondue... to share and each a salad. The fondue came out late and they quickly apologized and said they would comp it. It was tasty like abeer cheese but only came with bread. My mom loved the bbq bacon wedge salad and had enough to take home for a snack. My beetsalad was pretty good but nothing special. Overall it was a good experience but nothing extraordinary. I would compare it toClaim Jumper or Copper River. I would like to go back to try happy hour on the patio. Read more

We visited Brix in Tualatin for the 1st time since they opened. It was Friday nite happy hour and fairly busy. We sat outside... as a party of 4, but the interior remodel looked nice. We ordered from happy hour menu.....Brix burger, chicken pizza, grilledcheese and tomato basil soup, and a Caesar salad. Beverages of beer, margaritas, and iced tea. All pretty good with somesuggestions for future improvements. Tater tots were not cooked crispy as usually served at other places. These tots were softand mushy. Pizza crust also not done on the bottom in the middle. Beer glasses were warm and the beer was at ambient temperaturebefore even half finished. Frosted beer glasses would be a big step up. Our waitress must have had a bad day. She never smiledand gave short surly responses to any questions about the menu. Had to ask for water refill and ketchup for tater tots. Grantedthis Brix just opened, but I would only give them a C+ for this visit. We had expected more, but will try them again. Read more

4.5. I have been wanting to try Brix out since the old restaurant in this location closed. I was hoping for higher quality food... and an update space. I was not disappointed. We ended up ordering drinks (Rose 75 and Oregon Mule), starter fondue, chickenclub w/ side salad and halibut fish and chips. My favorite thing about our dinner was my salad. It was the best side salad everwith candied hazelnuts, goat cheese and sunflower seeds. I picked the citrus vinaigrette to go with it. So good! Next time I'mordering a dinner salad! We ordered surf and turf, steaks were rare but we requested medium well. After eating most of the delicious sides, we asked that... the steaks be re-grilled to our choices but they insisted on giving us a whole new plate of everything plus they brought ussalads to eat while waiting. Then they comped the entrees on our bill! They were very apologetic and kind for a minor issue.Excellent service and food was very tasty. Drinks also good. Read more
