Food was made quickly. Maybe a little to fast, sloppy sandwiches. The chili I ordered was the best part. Absolutely amazing.
This is my favorite location in the SW side of Portland. Just wish the had one in Wilsonville. Nice friendly staff that calls... you by name as you enter. But I'm in there at least twice a week. Corporate needs to get the app tuned in better. It'sconstantly an issue. Says it didn't go through, but I call in the order and they say it just came through, or it just spinsand won't do anything. You can never go wrong with a quality hot sub or sandwich and firehouse subs brings the quality. The Nashville hot brisket used... a quality cut of beef and was juicy, tender and flavorful. The Nashville sauce was perfect, with a nice heat and not to oily.The cornbread roll was amazingly soft and fresh. The slaw was great and cooled the heat from the Nashville hot sauce perfectly.The pickles added a nice contrast. The mac and cheese is a must try. What a great place! I don?t think we can go to ?sub st? after trying firehouse subs. Very flavorful, packed with ingredients, no... need to tell them every detail of how you want your sandwich done, they already do it right! The drive thru is not for thislocation btw. Lots of parking nearby and very efficient service. Every bite was so full of flavor, we will return very soon. Read more
This Firehouse is typical of casual dining fare. If you go in with that idea, you'll enjoy it. The staff are friendly, they have... a reasonable selection of sub fixings. The hot sauce selection is quiet good. It's not "wow, I love it" food, but it isgood. My only fault on it is the expense to make it a combo. Overall it's more expensive than other sub options with onlymarginally better food than Subway. Read more
Got a large Turkey Bacon Ranch sub & 1 bag of Cheetos. $16 . The sandwich was drowned in the Ranch peppercorn making the... sandwich meat & toppings slide out of the bread. The pickle was beginning to decay. The onions were not fresh but soggy. Nottasty at all. Read more
