Went to Odo last night with my daughter. We did not have reservations but were lucky enough to get 2 seats at the end of the... bar. BEST SEATS in the house. The aromas coming from the dishes as they were being prepared were so delicious! All of the staffwere super friendly and knowledgeable about the plates. The chef is an expert with flavors! We started out with thescarpetta...a white sauce which was perfectly seasoned and garnished with fresh herbs served with home made, warm foccacia. Nextwe shared the Aglie E Olio...pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was delicously salty and garlicky. For our entree, wehad the steak which was seared to medium perfection, with the cheesy mashed potatoes and vegetables. Out of this world! Wefinished the night with the strawberries and marscapone with an espresso martini. I loved the simplicity of the menu. I didnthave to flip through pages to decide what to order. And I know whatever I order will exceed expectations! We will definitely goback and plan on eventually trying everything on the menu!! Read more
First time visiting ODO in the village of Tuckahoe. It was a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff and wonderful food. For starters... we enjoyed the Coppa ?Prosciutto? and Bocconcini ?Mozzarella? both of which are made in house. The Coppa was thinly sliced,delicate and very tasteful. First bite into the Bocconcini and you knew it was freshly made. Making fresh mozzarella is atime-consuming art and ODO takes the time to do it right. Main course Lumache Tres Carne ?Bolognese? ? Lumache is a snail shelltype of pasta. We were told the dish consists of beef, pork, and lamb. All of which blended nicely and created a uniquetaste. The lumache was cooked perfectly and paired well with the sauce. Chitarra ?Cacio e Pepe? ? Citarra is a square type ofspaghetti. This dish of spaghetti with cheese and pepper seems simple to prepare. However, to get the right balance ofingredients and flavors takes skill. ODO?s Cacio e Pepe is a delight, starting with the homemade pasta, which was cookedperfectly, to the delightful taste of cheese and pepper. House special pork cutlet topped with eggplant and fresh mozzarella.The eggplant was roasted and tasted similar to a Baba-ghanoush. The flavors came together nicely. You can taste the time andcare that ODO?s Chef puts into the dishes he prepares. The entries are reasonably priced and portions are generous. Beautiful, cozy place. I sat at the bar where you can see them cooking everything with their open lay out of the kitchen. The... vibe was just right and it was only their first night open. I love that they support several local business as their uniform forthe staff. Maria, the manager was very accommodating and made the best cocktails. Gnocchi LITERALLY melts in your mouth. Soexcited for what?s to come of this restaurant. Street Parking is free after 5pm which is when they open. And they don?t takereservations which I like, there?s always room for a walk-in or a drink at the bar while you wait! Read more
I knew ODO would be good based on the reviews but nothing could prepare me for the top notch experience my friends and I had... dining here. Maria, our fantastic server, greeted us and kept us eating well and feeling like we were regulars the whole night.We tried as many menu items as possible and were just floored with the flavors in each dish.
