We love this local family owned restaurant. The food is always good with reasonable prices. We've been eating here for at least... 8 years and it is the best Mexican restaurant around. We drive up from Somers point at least once a month, even with two Mexicanrestaurants in town, this one is much better with better prices. I think we've had every item on the menu at this point andnever had any complaints. My husband always takes salsa to go, he likes it so much. The stuffed poblanos are my favorite buteverything is so good I never order the same thing twice in a row. The service is fast and friendly and every server we've hadhas been bilingual so no problem if you speak Spanish. Menu has food names in Spanish with English descriptions. I have neverhad room for dessert so I can't comment on that. We've had groups of 8+ and service was still fast with no difference in foodquality. Little bit limited on drink selection and alcohol is BYOB. Drink selection is my biggest issue there(mostly sodas andwater) and I figure if that's my biggest complaint I'm doing pretty good ????. This used to be a great place. WHAT happened to the homemade salsa?? The refried beans were cold..guacamole turning dark.. chips... dark burnt grease. I used to refer people to you. Now i regretfully will refer them away. $40 dinner and $10 tip. Wasted. Goodluck in the future. Read more

I just ate a fantastic lunch there this afternoon. It was affordable and the food was excellent. It truly made me miss my... grandmother's home cooked Latin dishes. It is local and I hope in the near future they begin adding more Latin restaurants tothis small community. My dish was fresh and the sauce they used on my dish was extremely tasty! I will be eating there againsoon enough and trying a new dish each time. Read more

The best damn Mexican food around, period. Gina is an excellent chef and everything on the menu is delicious. The portions are... also huge! I highly recommend the molcajete, but bring your appetite because that dish is a beast but it's so worth it! Read more
