This was my first venture into the world of Tucson?s south side Mexican food options. I now need to make many more trips since... this restaurant was delicious! The staff were friendly and the prices were fair. When we were there, the bathrooms were out oforder and we caught a whiff of strong cleaning chemicals coming in the door. However, I?ll assume that was a one off. I didn?tget any sense the restaurant was otherwise unclean. I ordered a Yaqui taco and a caramelo. The Yaqui taco is served overtortillas and a green Chile. Both were excellent. They have a salsa/toppings bar with tons of variety and many bottled salsas totry. Read more
