Legit Cantonese, so awesome to have this in Tucson. Affordable, yummy, large portion dishes. Super friendly owners, just go.

Food was very good. Medium spice was perfect. Soup wasn't as hot as we would have liked. Very busy when we arrived but... servers were friendly and the wait wasn't too bad. Read more

The food is absolutely wonderful and reasonable priced for what you get, but dining in the restaurant, because it's not very... big, was really loud. So take out is my preference . the food is EXCELLENT . Read more

Speaking as a chef and Asian food connoisseur, the high rating on this place brings great sadness to my ancestors. I really... hate to see this happen.. all of their recipes are correct and their ingredients are fresh but every seasoning is less than halfof what it should be. The hot and sour soup was not spicy nor sour. Their spicy level "hot" was a 1/10 on the spicy meter. Theentrees were extremely light on every corner of the taste spectrum: savory, sweet, umami and sour. This is no joke, literallyevery seasoning was cut in half. I can only assume this was done intentionally to suit their local clientele. If you are lookingfor good Chinese food, this ain't it. If you are in a certain demographic that thinks pepper is too spicy and a pinch of salt isenough for a pot of soup you'll love this place. Read more

The food and the service was great. It?s been difficult for my family to find a good Asian restaurant in the Tucson area,... particularly in the Oro Valley area. But Asian Spice had high reviews, so we drove 30 minutes just to try it and I?m so glad wedid. This instantly became our go-to restaurant for Asian cuisine. My wife comes from a Japanese family and we used to eat manydifferent Asian cuisines up in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area where there?s no shortage of great Asian food. At Asian Spice,I had the Firecracker Chicken with fried rice. It?s spicy, but not too spicy where the heat overpowers the flavor. Perfect. Thefried breading around the chicken pieces was crunchy. The portions were generous. My wife tried the Pad Thai with shrimp. Mydaughter had the sweet and sour chicken, her favorite. They were both equally impressed with their meals. There are Chinese,Japanese, and Mongolian varieties. There may be more. I don?t have a good recollection of everything in the menu, but there?s agood variety for any appetite. For appetizers, we had egg rolls and crab wantons. The egg rolls were flaky anddelicious. There aren?t many booths or tables for dining in, but it wasn?t too busy when we arrived, so we were able to dineinside. The restaurant does take-out as well. I will drive 30 minutes just to have this food again. I recommend giving AsianSpice a try. Read more

February 2022: This updated review gives me no pleasure to craft. While a 5-star review from 11/5/2021 is below, my repeat... visit in February 2022 was polar opposite and led to this update. Grabbed three dishes and again proceeded to the park acrossthe street for what we believed would be another great lunch. It was almost as if I was at an entirely different restaurant. Thesesame seed chicken was chewy, all of it, chewy bread and what appeared to be dark chicken meat. The Mongolian beef was mostlyonion and the flavor left us wanting. Finally, the vegetarian tofu plate with broccoli was also subpar. I commute from centralto this place, and likely won't return after this experience. Again, I regret being so harsh during a point in time whereratings are encouraged to be 'generous' (Read because of the pandemic). But looking above at the 2-star rating defined by yelpas "Could've been better', to be blunt - I am still writing in the spirit of being ?generous?. 05NOV2021: Drove out fromCentral Tucson just for this lunch...was not disappointed. Beef and Broccoli and Mongolian Beef - both so flavorful. The friedrice was absolutely delicious. Egg Flower soup, rich and flavorful. Although there is no dining in as of 11/2021 - there is anice park (Crossroads) just across the street. My to go order had all the sauces, two cookies, chopsticks - wonderful lunchChef Phillip - thank you. If I had one criticism on a 5 star review - it would be the egg roll...not certain made inhouse....if they are made in house, forgive me, because the rolling of the egg role itself is so perfect, it appears machinemade. I may be incorrect Chef. Read more

We stopped here after a visit to Marana pumpkin patch. Service was stellar. Food was hot, flavorful and addictive. I will be a... repeat customer. One of the best Chonese restaurants we've been to in Tucson. A small shop tucked into a strip mall, this placeis a hidden gem. Read more
