It was my boyfriend's birthday so I ordered his favorite-Tres Leche cake, from Albertsons a day ahead, but when I went to pick... it up they said that they were out- so they substituted it with a plain white cake instead. I knew my bf wouldn't like it, so Isearched for a good bakery near me and I picked up a ready made tres leche cake from Dolce Pastello and the girl working wasreally nice and put some fruit on top for me. Best Tres Leches cake I?ve had. We walked in needing a cake for a birthday and they currently have 3 flavors,... chocolate/vanilla/and marble.. we of course chose marble. We bought the whole cake and also one of their pre-cut pieces. Theslice didn?t make it home we both devoured it in the car. Cake was fluffy and soaked well. The leches didn?t overpower the cakeleaving it still light and sweet with the great texture. They also had some cool cake topper signs and a perfect selection ofcandles. Truly a 1 stop shop for getting a celebration cake. We will make sure the next time we have a sweet tooth that weswing by and grab another slice ? 6 stars? total Tucson gem! Read more
