We wanted steaks for dinner; we were in the area so we stopped in here. We've been to a couple other Firebirds locations and... they are very consistently good. I've frequented Firebirds occasionally and every time I leave I feel that I've enjoyed the experience. For this visit, we shared... that ahi tuna appetizer. The tuna was delicious and seasoned with wasabi flavoring, which was excellent. The service wasfriendly, prompt, and on point. The wine was also good. Overall, good job and I shall return. Read more

We made reservations, showed up on time and still waited 30 mins. Food was good, wings- great texture, a little smokey and... traditional wing sauce flavor; blue cheese filet steak- cooked true to medium well. Au grautin potatoes were dry and overcooked. Definitely over priced ($135 for 2 people) for the amount and mostly quality of food, but good atmosphere. We werepacked in on a small side table. Waitress seemed distracted. I ended up getting sulphur burps from this meal for the next 24hours. Was on our list of places to try because of the positive reviews, but didn't like it enough to go back. Read more
Service was good and the food was good. We had the lobster spinach queso and split the Durango burger. I really liked the queso... appetizer but the burger was kind of blah. It's almost as if it had too much going on to really make its mark on my taste buds.Good place for lunch overall. Read more
The food was good and the service was great. I decided to order a slice of carrot cake "to go" for dessert later. The menu,... played it up, stating it was large enough to share with two to three people, so I expected a robust multi-layered slice ofperfection. Instead I get a 4x4 piece of sheet cake. For $9! We went to firebird for a nice dinner out as a break from the craziness that is the holidays. I had the rib eye steak (12oz)... and she had prime rib smaller cut. We both had the tortilla soup to start and it was really good, with meaningful portions ofchicken and cheese and sour cream even with only ordering cup - size portions. My steak was cooked really well and wasdelicious. My only tiny complaint was that the grill marks bordered on char marks, not quite, but almost too much. Tater totswere excellent as well. Her prime rib was very good and cooked perfectly, and her potato was big(!) and delicious as well. Fordessert, I have the hardest time turning down cheesecake and this was no exception. The creme brulee cheesecake was reallydifferent, absolutely great and worth the cheat. It had just a hint of lemon, and the carmelization top was a great touch. Delicious. Great meal, great service, and busy, even though we were there for an earlier meal (530p). Make sure you getreservations! Read more
