This place is fantastic and we always look forward to going when we are in Tucson. The gelato is so super creamy and flavorful... it's ridiculous. I had the Alpencarmel and it was great not to over powering and just the right amount of Carmel. The wife had apeanut gelato and we can't remember the full name so rather than butchering it or getting it wrong let's leave it at that. When we went there, (and we haven't been back since), the young people working there AND the manager were pre occupied with... their friends that were there and made us feel like we were interrupting there good time. ALSO, one of them had stacked a bunchof the paper or plastic bowls used to serve the Gelato in outside next to the back door ON THE DIRT! The package was open andthe paper products were blown all over the back parking lot and into the side street. Ok, these things happen. However, when Ilet the manager know she wasn't worried....at all. We left with our Gelato and did a bunch of running around. Came back just alittle over two hours later. Paper products were STILL ALL OVER the back parking lot and even more in the side street by now.She just didn't care. Only important thing for her was to sit and chat with her friends. I'm hoping, by now, they have a newmanager who really cares about their business and their patrons because it really turned us off and won't go back and NEVER willwe refer them to our family, friends, out of town guests, etc. The owners need to keep a closer eye on their employees says onebusiness owner to another.
