We went to two restaurants in the area and they were both closed for Black Friday so we decided to try Guillermo?s. Glad we did.... The fish taco plate was excellent. Service was good. Just be aware they charge 2.49% fee if paid with credit card. Read more

I eat a lot of Mexican and I have to say the food was mediocre. My chicken chimichanga was bland and the nachos had that... horrible sauce rather than real cheese. I will not be going back Read more

And they don?t even deserve 1 star after the terrible service tonight! You are not acknowledged when you arrive and wait to be... seated, even when you are the only person in the waiting area. Then we waited for over an hour for a cheese crisp?.a burntcheese crisp. When brought to the attention of the server she just said the kitchen staff was really busy?.really!! Really busywith only about 25% of their tables filled??? No offer to make another or take it off the bill. The server just said that cheesecrisps were meant to be served crispy. I agreed with crispy but not burnt. This was a very poor reflection on their business!!!And the rest of their food is mediocre at best. There?s a good reason that people will stand in line and endure the wait acrossthe street at their competitor! And in the future when they are closed we will not visit this establishment again after the waywe were treated tonight! Read more

Very nice Mexican and Seafood restaurant. Most Mexican restaurants have a very limited seafood selection, Guillermo's is the... exception. I ordered the Green Chile Enchilada and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered the chimichanga which I will order nexttime I am here. I will admit our original destination was Mi Nidito which is directly across the street, but they had a waittime of over an hour... so we ventured across the street as we were hungry! Glad we did instead of driving to some place else. Read more

This is our 2nd visit. Serving staff very friendly. Food was delicious. Our son who lives in Tucson has gone more often since... our last visit. I think it's becoming a favorite. And he doesn't live on that side of town. It's not far off the freeway andreadily accessible. Just under 2 hours from north Phoenix. Normally I wouldn't post a partially eaten meal. I thought maybe aside view of what the item looks like may be of help. Okay, truth is I was hungry, it looked delicious and smelled great! Oh,there was two of those open faced beef enchiladas and I had an easy-over egg added to the top. Read more

This had good authentic Mexican food. We started with the Mixed Seafood Cocktail. It had scallops, oysters, scallops, ... octopus and more. Rick had the Green Chilli Pork Chimichanga with a Guacamole Tostada. Shirley had the Chicken Chimichanga and Ihad the Chicken Mole. Of the three I liked the Mole best for the flavor. The other two had the Chimichangas on the advice ofGoogle reviews along with the recommendations of the server. Don't be afraid of where it it in town if you are a tourist. Youare getting the real thing. Read more
