Delicious food and great service! We had 13 in our group and the waitress was very attentive to us. The food all came out at a... reasonable time and all together so everyone was able to eat together at the same time. Great place for big groups. 2-26-2022-Stopped by today for lunch and it was great. The service is always the best and the food is even better. I had my hopes set high. That was my mistake. I love Italian Food the most. The Fettuccine Alfredo was very salty and with the... Prosciutto it was beyond too much. The Noodles sucked up the sauce as if they were made yesterday and reheated. Which being asit was salty could be a good thing. The dish was dry the chicken was moist not much flavor going on with the chicken. TheParmesan Chicken was ok nothing really stood out about it. I wonder if this recipe has changed. Seems like in the past The dishI got was extremely good and now that same dish is just ok. I would think twice before I come back only because Olive Garden asgeneric as they are puts out a better meal. It’s a shame too because I would support a small mom and pop place over big boxstore. Until the small mom and pop place starts to put out ok food but charges the same high end prices as the those deservingrestaurants. $60 not counting tip. All for 2 ice tea and 2 meals. We took most of our food with us. Day two of the meal was notthat great. Italian food is known for the food tasting better the day after. Mama Louisa's is a local Tucson treasure. It is an Italian American restaurant that has classic, traditional, and specialty... dishes that are sure to have something to please everyone in your party. Every time I've dined at Mama Louisa's has been atreat. I typically love to get their house salad and Lasagna or Joe's Special. Their house red sauce is one of my favorites. Ithad the perfect balance of sweet and savory which compliments any dish it is in. I have also had their Manicotti and chickenfettuccine Alfredo which were also delicious. All meals come with their house made breadsticks which are fluffy, warm, andlightly seasoned. They are great on their own or dipped in sauce. Further, the bar hosts local beers, a variety of wines, andcocktails, if you want to have a drink with your meal. Mama Louisa's is also very worth the price. We've been going to Mama Louisa's since I was a little girl. It's where we've celebrated all of our families many special... occasions over the past 20-30 years. Visiting Tucson after several years away with a large group (the whole fam) we werethrilled to see that the restaurant was busy, as beautiful as ever and the service was amazing. Despite the necessarydismantling of what formerly was the best salad bar in Tucson (probably due to COVID protective safety measures?) our food didnot disappoint. We love your Joe's Special and breadsticks. We had a 3 year old in our group on our most recent visit, (our 1stback, post pandemic) and were delighted to see that she was just as enthusiastic about her dinner as we were about ours allthese years later! You know you've done something right when the toddler is the one at the table asking us to pass theAntipasti appetizer ???? God willing, Mama L's will continue to be the setting for another generation's 20 plus years ofmemorable moments. Amazing food, amazing interior, amazing service! Really appreciate their food to take me happiness and healings. I experienced a... terrible day but once I tried their food.
