Really good Shakshuka Benedict, love how they got the chickpea cake crispy. Would only prefer they at least wilt and season the... spinach a bit. Dad enjoyed the Nook Breakfast with add-on cinnamon roll pancakes. Try the Mexican Candy Mimosa for a uniquetwist on an old fave. Read more
I had tried their hanger steak salad for lunch a few weeks ago and have been waiting to come for a weekend nosh with the... family. Food is excellent, and be prepared for massive portions. The take home boxes are roomy and high quality, so nothinglost. Ambience is modern rustic, servers are friendly and attentive. We like the quirkiness of this restaurant and the food was spectacular. It's quirky because of how it's set up between the bar... and the open cook area and the outdoor seating but we liked it. We sat right in front of where the chef and his team did theirwork. Everyone who worked there seemed very busy and even though we liked our waiter he seemed to be talking to a lot of peopleso we didn't see him a lot it took a bit to get our food but it look like it was the same for everybody else. Excellent restaurant. Friendly staff and quick service considering how busy it was. Staff were able to answer my questions about... the vegan protein bread, or if they couldn’t answer they enlisted someone else to help. I got shakshuka eggs Benedict andcarrot protein bread on two separate days and both times the food was perfect. Highly recommend Nook for excellent food and agreat atmosphere with friends or family! First time visiting, as I'm not a resident of Tucson, but if I did live here it would definitely be on my "places to visit... again" list. You can drive past it if you're not familiar with it like I did. But the food was great and our waitress was veryfriendly. I wish we had one in El Paso ???????????. The biscuits and gravy were wonderful (covered with my over easy eggs ????),and my wife had some cinnamon flavored pancakes. They were also very good. A great first impression. Read more
What a wonderful place for brunch! There are two entrances, with an outdoor or indoor option for dining. Menu is rather... extensive with a wide option of choices. I had the steak salad and split a side of cinnamon roll griddle cakes. Coffee is hot,good, and plentiful. Service is friendly, fast, and helpful. The steak salad came with a perfect lemon vinaigrette that wasjust fabulous with the arugula. I didn’t think I was all that hungry, but managed to polish everything off. Cinnamon rollgriddle cakes may be the best breakfast thing I’ve had in a while. Everything is excellently executed. Note: restroom wasalso clean and well-maintained. Read more
