I used to love this place growing up. I feel like the consistency has gone down over the years. The final straw was a take-out... order of several ?pizookies? for my family, where all the cookies were burnt. A refund was promised to us by a manager, but thatnever went through (it?s been a month since). It?s not really worth the trouble in pursuing this further to get thisresolved. Just disappointed and in search for a new favorite spot to take the family. Read more

I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with my visit to Oregano's. I've driven by the restaurant on Speedway Boulevard... many, many times, but finally decided to give this place a go. I don't know what I was expecting, but what it is is much betterthan what I had in my mind. Anyway, I ordered a gluten-free chicken, black olive, and mushroom pizza and the Pan One-O deep dishpizza. I also ordered the garlic cheese bread. The garlic cheese bread is excellent -- the bread is soft and it is very cheesy. The Pan One-O is what I expect in a deep-dish pizza and it did not disappoint. Thick, lots of toppings, lots of cheese, and thesauce on top. The gluten-free pizza, for my partner-in-crime, was the best gluten-free pizza she's had in Tucson thusfar. Also, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is designed with a very Italian motif and theme. Brightlycolored with Italian restaurant appropriate music play. I also had a tall beer at the bar. All in all, I have to rank Oregano'sup there on the Tucson pizza joint ladder. Good digs. Good food. Read more

We didn't have to wait more than a couple of minutes for a seat (there were only two of us) and it wasn't overwhelmingly loud or... packed inside. Overall it was very clean and the decor was super cute and well put together. Not a huge selection in the menu, probably about eight options for each section (pasta, sandwiches, salads), and then just a few for pizza because you chose yourown toppings. We got the pan cheese pizza and the lasagna, and both were absolutely delicious; the garlic bread practicallymelted in my mouth. The waiter told us the pizza would take about 40 minutes (apparently most people recommend ordering ahead oftime) but it was a cozy, comfortable place and we weren't in a rush so the wait was fine -- and exactly spot on. The lasagnacould have come out first but we decided to do both at the same time. Our waiter, Brian, was also super on top of things. All inall a very good place to eat! Read more

Nice little pizza joint with some unique decor. The Italian Gold wings were especially good and were my favorite part of the... meal. The pizza was a bit dry and tasteless. I had to ask for a side of sauce and put salt on the pizza. I don't know if I wouldorder another pizza from here. I would like to try some of their salads and pasta though. Read more

Restaurant was typical Italian colors with a Sinatra theme. Beautiful Tucson evening but drop down windows were closed in a back... porch/patio and the ambiance was lost. Waiter messed up on the order... a small salad was ordered but a big salad was broughtand of course paid for. A mistake on my part was ordering the Zany Ziti. Penne pasta, marinara sauce and 4 cheeses in a homemade bread bowl. It was overbaked, pasta dry and cold in a hard tasteless bread wrap. We had ordered sausage on the side whichwas really good! Had to ask for additional red sauce for the pasta, which helped some. Read more

Absolutely delicious. This place was well worth the 45 min wait on a Saturday night. The food was fresh, hot and delicious.... Service was superb as well. The staff was very attentive, friendly and nice. This pasta with a spicy vodka sauce and shreddedchicken was so delicious. For a chain restaurant this place had a mom and pop feel to it, and the food was great. Highlyrecommend Oregano's to anyone. I will be back. Read more
