I pulled up to the Sonic Drive Thru speaker at 1045 pm. The store closes at 11pm. There were 3 cars ahead of me, when I got to... the the speaker I was told that they were closed. I reminded the employee that the store shows open til 11 and he repeated thatthe store was closed I asked why it was closing early and how they can serve the 3 cars in front of me and not me. He againrepeated they were closed. I continued to wait in line my intention was to ask for a # and name of the Store manager so I canmake a complaint but they locked the window and refused to acknowledge me. The guy on the speaker said his name was Tony. Thiswas Friday, November 11th. I am new to this area and as far as I know that's the only sonic location near me I am verydisappointed and upset about this experience. Check-in feature from app was broke, but after about 7-8 minutes someone finally came out to check on me and brought my order to... me. Not enough cheese for a cheese sandwich in my opinion, but that is probably a corporate thing they have no control over. Read more
Three drive in stalls open, and a drive through line a mile long at 10:15 pm, ridiculous. Had to edit this, finally get to the... drive through and the ice cream machine is broken, place is trash might as well turn it into a parking lot. Read more
I visited here a few times before posting my review, I noticed I had previously rated this location 4 stars 9 months ago in... December but after coming here 4 or 5 times and seeing the consistency of the food (great!) and the speed at which it comes outand the REALLY good, kind employees, I knew I had to bump it up to a 5 star and add an actual review. This is the only locationI can tolerate Sonic's burgers at in Arizona, good as I've ever seen it, drinks are always good, they don't forget things likemints. If you want Sonic, this is where you should go. Great pricing too. Read more
I go to this Sonic because it is close to my work. Being in Arizona with the heat it is nice to have a cool sweet treat once in... a while. I also love the sugar free options for slushies. The issue is the manager Arlen is not pleasant or polite. I haveencountered him a couple times. The first time I ordered a milkshake and the lid was not on right and the milkshake spilledeverywhere, myself and my car. When I went back I mentioned it to him and he seemed to care less. Today I went to order lunchfor my boss. She got a chili cheese fries. So when it was handed to me it looked like a chili cheese dog, the fries were in along cardboard boat that was placed in almost a foil wrap. So I was confused. (side note I am from CA and do not have much Sonicexperience)... When I politely said that I asked for chili cheese fries I got a nasty response and a dirty look from Arlen witha response of "that is chili cheese fries" and he shoved my drinks into my hands. I feel like this is not great customerservice, especially from someone who is the manager. Read more
June, 2022. Some of the best shakes at the price point. The staff are much friendlier, speak clearly, along with what feels as... though they apply a genuine effort towards getting orders out quickly and accurately. The drive thru can still pose to be alittle sluggish but that's to be expected during certain time frames and thankfully, its no longer anywhere near the 20+ minutesper car, whether it was a single item or the entire menu, as it was a year or two ago. Just wondering what happened to the rest of my fries. This was suppose to be a large (but of course my picture wont save after i... upload) if i pay for a large dont give me a large container with a small portion. Also they taste old, like a few hours.
