This place was filthy! We had a company mixer here where we spent $500 in 2 hours for our event. Food was mediocre at best.... Tables were rickety, dirty, and tiny. The bathroom was disgusting and looked like it hadn?t been cleaned in years. To top itoff, the waitresses attire was obscene! They?re basically dressed in their underwear! So good! I ordered the Cubano and my boyfriend got the steak salad. Both were amazing, a little pricey, but so worth it! Quick... and friendly staff, clean and warm small bar/upscale bar type atmosphere. We liked that they were open a little bit later thanmost places in tucson too. Will def be back! Thanks guys! I?ve gone here a ton for work lunch. The one night I bring the fam to try out the place I talk about. We get pour service and... burnt and soggy food. I was ready to go, embarrassed. The general manager came out and asked what was going on after I mentionedto the server my sons food was burnt. I let him know but asked to get my bill so we could go we had waited quite some time as itwas. The server came out shortly to apologize and told us nothing was owed. For someone that never goes out because it?s tooexpensive as it is and to get bad food and service is discouraging. But for someone to recognize they didn?t do something rightand take accountability is huge. This happened a couple weeks ago but my life has been too busy to recognize an establishmentthat genuinely wants to see their customers return. I applaud that and although I told the owner before he left the table Iwouldn?t be returning. You changed my mind sir whoever you are. Food was decent, but my waitress is why I am giving 5 stars. Unfortunately I don't remember her name, she is petite and wore a... bandana on her head. I didn't know what I wanted to drink so she offered to "surprise me"... she could tell I didn't like thesurprise drink, so she didn't charge me for it and brought me a different drink which I really enjoyed and appreciatedimmensely. We Wisconsin types love a good Friday night fish fry. And Trident II delivered. Sweet, tender cod with a crispy coating... accompanied by tartar sauce that nobody needed, and a beautiful coleslaw that was absolutely decadent. This rivals some of thebest fish fries I've had in Wisconsin, and I've been around a lot of fish fries in my life! I will be back here again and againbecause it is so damn good. Read more
Last night was my first time visiting (Friday at 6:30 pm). We were able to walk in and be seated fairly quickly even though the... restaurant was packed. I got fried pickles as an appetizer and my friend got pretzels. They were absolutely delicious! For ourmeals I got the California BLT, which was tasty but there was so much lettuce it was hard for me to eat. I couldn't get my mouthover the entire sandwich lol my boyfriend got fish tacos that looked yummy, but he said the slaw on top tasted like storebought. He loved the chips and salsa. My friend got the grilled chicken pesto sandwich which she enjoyed, and her boyfriend gota steak with the most delicious looking potatoes. Overall, it was a great experience. A little pricey and there aren't many beeroptions. I don't usually drink liquor but the monsoon margarita wasn't bad. I want to go back because the menu is large and somany different things sounded good. Also the fries are phenomenal! I can't quite describe the taste, but I loved them. What an awesome previously hidden (from me???????hidden gem ! So many choices, so little room in my stomach! Choices ranged from... tasty appetizers to yummy entrees. The very friendly & knowledgeable Isabella was happy to answer any questions regarding menu &drink choices. Not only was she well versed on the menu she knew how to ask us the right questions in order to point out somepotentially interesting menu items. Since we had a variety of likes & were extremely indecisive about what to order shesuggested appetizers & boy did we order appetizers! Wings with different sauces , after she explained the sauce options to us,shrimp dish & the cheese & things tray ! She was very thoughtful & courteous with refreshing our drinks, keeping us advised asto ' wait time' on order & just a pleasant breathe of sunshine in the desert.
