Visually beautiful restaurant with Spanish inspired details. Sitting close to the kitchen is fun research to find out what you... want to order. Food is Southern American fused with Spanish and Italian techniques and ingredients. Fried green tomatoes are apass, the corn soup was delicious, the fish was acceptable although the presentation was not visually appealing (likeVeggieTales exploded on my plate). We made a reservation for a Saturday night at the chefs counter. The kitchen team is professional and works fast. It was fun... watching them cook while we ate. The wait staff is great, our drinks including water were kept full. We started with the woodfired empanadas which were very tasty. I ordered the Chilean sea bass which was cooked perfectly with great flavors. My wifeordered the venison sausage & ricotta ravioli. Pasta was cooked perfectly and tasted very good. This place is seriously so good. I have never been disappointed eating here. I’d recommend calling ahead to secure a... reservation. With a small party you may get lucky and have no wait, but better safe than sorry. The menu changes a few timesthroughout the year, but you will not be disappointed with whatever you choose here. Last time I was in I had the slow roastedshort rib that was marinated in A&W root beer. My wife and I went to Tulsa for a concert and decided to try Amelia’s. It was a great decision! We both had the 8oz wood... grilled beef tenderloin with Brussels sprouts, Patagonia potatoes and a shallot-peppercorn bordelaise and my tastes buds arestill salivating at the thought of this wonderful dinner. In my wife’s words, “this is the best dinner I have ever had!” Since we are both foodies, that’s an amazing compliment and one I agree with. It was by far on the best meals I have ever hadas well. The ambiance of the restaurant was absolutely perfect. From the music to the staff, everything was perfect. The drinkselection from wines to bourbons was also excellent. If you are ever in Tulsa, do not pass up a chance to visit Amelia’sWood-Fired Cuisine. Make a reservation early to secure your seating and enjoy. An absolute Oklahoma treasure. We will return! Incredible meal. Our party had several appetizers and shared meals, including their massive steak on the bone (forget what its... called). Besides the steak sauces, this was one of the best meals I've had in Tulsa. Amelia herself served our table at timesand she is wonderful, and the wait staff was superb. Read more
We were offered outdoor seating since indoor was full. It took quite a lot of time before someone attended to take orders. It... took them another while before they realized the drink ordered from their menu was not available. Food was average. I ordered aRomaine Salad and Pasta Primavera. Salad was a bit pungent or sour for my taste and pasta needed a bit more seasoning. Finallyon the bill they made mistakes twice and had to be changed. Overall service can be improved. Read more
Food, drinks and customer service were fantastic! I recommend getting the octopus for appetizer. I hesitate most of the time... when it comes to ordering and eating them because there are multiple instances that the octopus that I order before was chewy,but the Amelia’s octopus was not at all and with every bite, it melts in your mouth and it was delicious.
