Beans were not good almost like something you?d feed to your baby like purée I had the chimichanga it was very dry it?s usually... my go to dish for places I haven?t been because ?who can mess up a chimichanga? well now I know. We walked in and before I wentin my husband asked if I wanted to eat here or take it to go I said ?we?ll eat here? and walked in and regretted it we bothstared at eachother it was hot and small we didn?t like any of it but felt bad and still tipped really good but seeing thereviews made us want to go the food made us never want to come back sadly. Tulsa has a variety of Mexican restaurants. Some good, some okay? Then there are those SPECIAL establishments like this one.... Cancun International serves flavorful traditions that are soulful dishes filled with beautiful flavor. When you eat a chip thatimpacts your tastebuds you know your in for a great experience. Love this place! I've ordered the Camarones a la Diabla a few times and can't get it out of my mind. Perfectly smoky and... flavorful. You also can't go wrong with their chips, salsa, and queso (of course). The best thing about the place is theservice. Our waiter was extremely funny, like, maybe should consider stand up, but wasn't too hover-y, which my introverted selfappreciated. Can't recommend enough! Read more
My husband got the Pollo a la Diabla (possibly diablo), his comments are "it's food". It was not super spicy and it lacked... flavor. I got the Super Burrito with ground beef and everything on it, the ground beef was not seasoned and all in all it was apretty average burrito. They have Pepsi products or bottles of coke and beer available. The staff were kind and attentivehowever, considering the price (which was expensive compared to, say El Maguey) and the lack of flavor and excitement from thefood we won't be coming back. Read more
Started eating here weekly, sometimes more than 1x after moving my office to Kendall Whittier. Chicken is so good & salsa always... super fresh. True, she can be abrupt, like when I tried to order a lunch special & had lust track of the time, but come on? Theywork hard, serve great TexMex & are local. Awesome carne asada, the food was great and the service was nice. Big burritos to challenge your hungry stomach.
I was little disappointed with my experience today. The queso blanco was very runny, lacked flavor, and small for the price... 2/10. The salsa was good but also very runny 7/10. I got the tacos which were pretty delicious and filling 10/10. My boyfriendgot the torta which he devoured in 2 seconds 10/10. The rice and beans were typical nothing special about them 7/10. Overall Ifeel like you can find a cheaper and better restaurant. This place is overpriced for the quality. Read more
We are in Tulsa from San Antonio Tx for a soccer tournament, because the weather was cold we were looking for some good Caldo.... Thanks to the reviews and the comments we were able to enjoy the great food. Pazole was delicious and flavorful. Caldo depescado and Camaron was delicious as well. The super burrito de carnitas was so good. We will definitely be back when we visitTulsa. Read more
