The manager/owner needs to take himself through a customer service training course!! Instead of telling a customer, no you won't... do that... You should always be prepared to accommodate said customer! When asked for French fries to be placed inside aburrito, the manager/owner simply told the waitress no, we will not do that! So we had to order a side of french fries and thenput them in the burrito ourselves. The appropriate customer service action would be to accommodate the customer. By simplysaying there will be a extra charge for that and then filling the order as requested, you would have received a better ratingand a satisfied customer. If you're going to be in the service industry, customer retention is very important nowadays. Takecare of your customers and they will take care of you! Read more
There were about 20 of us for a birthday party. The girl that took care of us was amazing. She got all the orders at at the same... time and all were correct. Plus no one drink or chips and salsa were empty. Did it all with a smile and she was customer driven. Read more
We grew up eating El Chico's--haven't had it in year and years due to it going out of business in our hometown. We wanted to... stop for old times sake. It was EXACTLY how we remembered it. We love the enchilada plates and of course the chips and salsa.They also sell salsa and chips to go! The staff were all very friendly and helpful! Read more

Very nice restaurant, very clean and extremely friendly waitress. She did an excellent job, didn't get her name but I hope her... boss appreciates her hard work and friendly and professional attitude. She had a lot of tables and handled them with finesse.She had a smile on her face the entire time and attended everyone's need. The food was hot and delicious. I will be back to thislocation and recommend this restaurant to everyone. I had Jalapeños poppers for starter, taco excellent carnitas, beefenchiladas with rice/beans and icecream brownies sundae totally delicious. Read more
We most recently went to this El Chico as part of a family celebration, having been there a few times before. It's not a bad... place at all, but for the money there are other places in Tulsa that are far better. In this last instance, there was one serverworking the entire upper section, and she worked her tail off. Service was a bit slow, but we had 18 people in our party, so Iain't knocking that at all. Totally understandable. Food was okay, just nothing stellar stood out. I can tick off a handful ofTex-Mex places where the food is just plain better. They definitely have a niche customer base, and I'm sure they're supremelyhappy with things as they are. I wouldn't *not* go back, it just wouldn't be my first choice. Read more
