They checked on us to ensure we didn't need... anything, and although we arrived close to closing hours they treated us as if we were their first customers of the day. The food was good, but the service was lacking. The cashier had an unkind expression and was less than friendly. She seemed... tired and like she didn?t want to be there. I value seeing a friendly face and being greeted by the cashier. That goes a longway. I have visited Fire House Subs in other places and have been very impressed with the food and the service. Service and cleanliness is on the decline. I?ve been coming here for a few months and have noticed that the staff is not... interested in providing great customer service and/or a clean restaurant. During my last visit an employee answer a personalcall while making my sandwich (did not remove her gloves and kept making my food) while a more senior staff member ignored thehealth infraction. The ice machine has been broken for weeks and there has not been hand soap in the bathroom for over twoweeks. I understand that things fall between the cracks but this place is beyond messy and sloppy - eat here at your own risk. Read more
