We came here for our anniversary dinner and it so happened to be a wine dinner. It was a beautiful spread, great food, and good... wine. The owner and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special for our occasion. I had requested escargot and theywere able to accommodate that and everyone there got to enjoy it as well. The wine group that was there gifted us two very nicebottles of wine also. We are from Houston, but when we come back to Tulsa, this will be our first stop. Thank you for such agreat evening! My friends and I were in downtown last night to support a restaurant pop-up when we saw there was this bar nearby in the same... building. We had a wonderful experience with the bartender. He seemed knowledgeable, kind, and conversed with us. Our drinksweren?t on the menu but he was still able to make it for us. The drinks were delicious. I would definitely come back! Read more

I went here for the first time yesterday for my boyfriend's birthday and we will be back. I ordered the trout and is was... delicious. It was buttery and melted in my mouth. The cocktail I wanted was not on the menu and the bartender was still able tomake it perfectly for me. Our waiter Tom was phenomenal. He was very kind and informed us of the specials and other items on themenu. The inside of the restaurant adds to the overall ambience. This is an absolute gem in downtown Tulsa! Read more

Great staff. Great location. Wonderful ambiance. Delicious food. Went here for my anniversary dinner and my wife and I did have... a great time. Food was more than anticipated; had no room for desert. We both had the chef's specialty, fish and lambrespectively. Read more

Beautiful restaurant with a nice ambiance. Would be a great date night venue. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich. The... mushroom was cooked perfectly (tender but with a firm feel). It was topped with blue cheese which really set it off. Thesandwich was served with mashed potatoes (which I found a little odd) and a greens salad with a lite dressing. Perfect for a hotspring day. My waitress was great, but the bartender seemed a little pompous. I would recommend this restaurant, especially fora lite lunch or fancy dinner. Read more

Date night at this place was pretty good! When we went they were short staffed and still made it a point to act like we were the... only ones in the restaurant. The bartender/waiter/hero was amazing. The food was good although I wished my steak was actuallyseasoned, however not a bad ribeye. The vibe was really cool and we felt comfortable. I recommend this place as a new try it outspot. Stunning hospitality and food experience. Went for a friend?s birthday and we all had an amazing time. The only small change I?d... suggest is that they improve their Old Fashioned?seemed they felt the need to top it off with soda water. Read more

I am not so refined in taste as my wife is so when she suggested this place, I was a bit nervous. I'm of the school of thought... that I would prefer buying groceries and eating at home and if I must eat out, do it where you can get a lot of food for a goodprice. Hence, why I felt odd when coming here, and it being a French restaurant, I already felt like I was being looked downupon. But its so interesting, how a lot of things just are in your own mind until you come face to face with reality, only forit to turn out much better than what you expected. This place gave me a lesson. Its okay to eat in places where food is moreexpensive. Its okay to try new things even if they are a bit more pricy. Its about the experience and most importantly, itsabout understanding, that God said all things He made were good, so who was I to judge? I had a lovely evening here and thatwas in part due to William our server who gave us plenty of chuckles and a warm atmosphere. We took some of his recommendationsand we also tried the Dijon Chicken and the duck with the cherry glaze. My taste buds were going wild. The texture, theconsistency, the taste, a beautiful ensemble of food made with love and an incredible presentation. Not one thing fell short andall was good. My wife and I had such a wonderful time and we would go back there without thinking about it. The French Hen hasa special place in our hearts and I hope it does for you too. Thank you William for a wonderful evening and thank you, FrenchHen, for changing my perspective, and welcoming us with open arms. Read more
