You're paying for the view, but that doesn't mean you actually get to enjoy one. We were really excited about dining here. I... made reservations for a window table for our 15th wedding anniversary about a week ago. I tried calling mid-afternoon so I couldtalk to a human and make a reservation, but they didn't want to take one over the phone, so I used the app. Anyway, the hostessread my note about it being a special occasion, and then promptly seated us in the very back corner under florescent lights nextto the easier stand and high chairs. After we ordered, I went to wash up and noticed they had a couple tables open on theother end of the restaurant with a gorgeous view of downtown. I checked again later, they still had twoof those same tablesopen and unused. Our server was friendly, but rarely checked on us--too busy flirting with coworkers, it seemed. The food wasfine, but small portions and not great. Bar drinks were ok. The desert was dry and not enjoyable. If it had been a normal datenight, I would've been disappointed. But I'm rather irritated that I made a reservation several days in advance, told them itwas our anniversary, and it was a bust. In the raw is absolutely fabulous from the service, to the view and the outdoor patio, the drink selection and especially the... food. Had their specialty roll with the 6 oz of lobster on top and it was great. We had a large group of 12 and they were ableto accommodate us perfectly with a reservation. Classy place! Read more
Vibrant energy pulsed through this place and it pulled me in once I exited off of the elevator. Situated on the 6th floor, In... The Raw Vu has an advantage that perhaps no other restaurant can boast: a breathtaking, panoramic view of the city. It was likeeye-candy that dazzled through their tinted windows. The staff was attentive and pleasant. The hostess was adorably friendly,and our waiter was professional, helpful, and efficient. This certainly added another level of ease and enjoyment to thevisit. My meal was superb. I ordered the Blackened Salmon. It had a beautiful sear and buttery tender meat and served with whatI would call a mushroom pilaf or something similar. This place has an excellent view and I was seated very quickly. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I... ordered a roll that wasn’t on the menu and the chef made it and it was delicious. The servers are absolutely outstanding. Therestroom was clean and the music in the background was diverse and not too loud. The food was fresh and made to order and did Imention how great the view is? Great date night or birthday dinner spot. The vibe is fantastic - fun place to dress up; moody lighting. A really cool place to... experience downtown Tulsa.
