This is a great place to have drinks with friends. I got rice and beans but I should have got double beans. Rice wasn't so great... to me. Lunch and dinner serves its different. Read more

This was my granddaughter's birthday dinner. The food was bad. The fish in my tacos was way over fried. The other orders in my... party were incorrect. The service was less than mediocre. All of us waved, like we were marshalling aircraft on a runaway to getANY SERVERS attention. One member even had to get up and find our server. We didn't make a fuss, because I didn't want toembarrass my granddaughter. If she asks to go here again, I will refuse. I'll find better food and service elsewhere. At leastwe all enjoyed Halloween City, right across the street ???? Read more

Ordered via DoorDash. Paid $25 for subpar, dry nachos that did not come with sour cream, guacamole, NADA! 25 weeks pregnant,... last person you want to make unhappy. Thanks for nothing. Read more

Ordered a family meal...this was $118+ but certainly won't feed 4 people!!! CiCi the manager on duty was rude and wanted to... argue about how much food was able to feed a family... We've ordered many family meals from On the Border...this is NOT a familymeal!! Additionally, chips were not fried properly so most went in the trash. Nothing like greasy, half fried chips. Restaurant wasn't very busy at all. Which makes me wonder why it was so dirty. Pretty much anywhere you walked, in the section... we were seated in (bar area), you where either walking on food, balled up napkins or straw wrappers. Speaking of straw wrappers, our drinks were served with straws ALREADY in them. Weird. The hallway going to the restrooms smelled like raw sewage. Probablywhy they didn't have anyone seated in the section near the restrooms. Its weird, because the restrooms didn't smell bad atall. Time was decent. We didn't have to wait long for our food. I'll never order a regular guacamole with our queso appetizer. It was $7 for 2 spoonfuls of half-black guacamole. The queso was delicious! I ordered the pick 3 combo, with empanadas, a tacoand an enchilada. The empanadas tasted good, but were very dark (overcooked). The taco barely had anything in it (pictured). Therice was okay, but weird, and felt like it had been made several days ago. My mom ordered a steak burrito. Made up for lack offilling in my taco, since it was STUFFED with steak. It was very good. Waitress was nice and attentive. I left disappointed, but not angry, so thats a plus. But I'll stick to the 71st street location, from now on. Read more

Cozy place to sit down for a bite. I ordered flavored tea (mango then I tried the peach). I got the ultimate fajitas about... 17.49 and the lunch special 7.99 for 2 enchiladas. One chicken and one cheese. The chicken, steak, pork and shrimp were soft, tender and delicious. The vegetables looked like a variety of squash, variety of bell peppers and onions. It came with theusual 3 flour shells (you can get corn for no extra charge) . The enchiladas were great. The chicken was flavorful and tender. The sauce on top I switched around and there was no extra charge for switching the toppings. And for dessert I got cinnamonsprinkled Carmel stuffed churros with a scoop of ice cream. The staff were helpful and attentive, my waiter was Jason Read more
