I went through the Drive Thru at Popeyes today. When I got to the Window to pay I was singing The Popeye the Sailor Man song. ... The guy working there looked at me like I was crazy. I asked him if the Popeye the Salior man song was the official theme songfor the restaurant. He said no that he had never heard of it. I'm now thinking I should buy a Popeyes franchise and have myemployees Memorize and sing the song before they can clock in for work. I would also put spinach on the menu. Popeye is aimportant part of America history and he should not be forgotten. Read more
The breading is so hard and thick you can't hardly taste their chicken. Their Mac n cheese is just melted cheese with random... noodles in it. Their lemonade isn't bad though. Read more
Chicken sandwich used to be good, but then they stopped caring and now it's garbage. Every time I get one, I have to throw half... of it away because it's tough/chewy and not appetizing at all. It's sad because their chicken sandwiches used to be the best,now I'd rather get literally any other fast food place's chicken sandwich. The staff is friendly though. Read more
The food and the staff are great here. Clean courteous etc. That being said, I am old enough to get my own condiments and... napkins. Using Covid at this point (Sept 2022) as an excuse to limit these necessities is a little outdated, against mainstreamscience and falling very much out of favor. Save your nickels elsewhere without feeding your customers a line of bull. Don'ttake it out on the employees they just work there and do a fine job otherwise. Read more
Omgoodness I do not know where to start. So I walked into Popeyes and the young lady wearing an orange Popeyes shirt at the cash... register and another young man with a gray Popeyes shirt were playing with each other. She asked if she can help me, I asked fora 3 piece spicy combo, I explained I didn?t want the biscuit. The young expressed in a very rude way me not wanting the biscuitwould not reduce the price of the combo. I?m not sure why she was explaining that so rudely when I never asked about reducingthe price. Then I asked if she could either drop fresh chicken or re-drop the chicken that?s already sitting there so that itcould be hot and well done underneath the skin of the chicken. She replied no she will not again in a very rude way. So I askedif I could speak with a manager, so of course she goes and get the young man she was just horsing around with. So she basicallytells him to tell me ?NO? while walking towards me. So at this point I ask if he?s the manager and she says no he?s not, I?mlike I asked to speak to the manager, can you please get the manager. She screams the manager name ?Jordan, come over here?. Iasked for her name and she refuse to give it to me. She begins to say I don?t have to give you my name. So me begin the wisecustomer I took a picture of a receipt which had her name ?Diana? on it. When I say extremely disappointed, I mean extremely disappointed. I haven?t visited Popeyes in a while, but things have changed.... I attempted to scan my app code to earn points, but was unable to do so because they do not have a scanner. I mentioned that Iorder in person so I can get a choice as to what meats I get. So I get told I can choose my meats and then cannot choose to have2 legs and a breast or a breast, thigh and leg, so what a waste. I do not eat wings but am forced to have one and then can?teven earn points on it. I am upset about the points, but I am even more upset about not being able to sub a wing for a leg orthigh, which up until now I have always been able to do. I hadn?t even touched the chicken but they refused to do because I justnoticed upon picking up my tray. Guess KFC or Church?s Chicken for me. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Edit: Just toshow that I am not one of those people who eat and complain, I added a second photo with the completed meal with the wing stillremaining. It a shame that they lost a customer over a leg or thigh, but customer service matters. Read more
So I order the "Hand Crafted Tenders" along w/mac and cheese and mashed potato w/gravy. When I look at my receipt that Diana -... the manager - handed me, I noticed that she rang up a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. When I tried to get her attention to correct theorder, she was off to the left of the counter chit chatting with two of her friends about some upcoming event. Mind you, thereare two more customers behind me. More chit chat. I heard the door to the ladies room open on my right and out came the cashier. I get her attention and explain my dilemma. She immediately bags my order minus the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Goodthing I checked. I then let her know my $11.41 order was missing the two side items. For that price, they should throw in asmall drink at least. She checks the receipt and gives me the missing food. BTW, the so called manager was still chatting withher two friends when I left. I think it's time to install kiosks in Popeyes. They can at least get my order right. Read more
