This Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! This was my wife and I's first time at Roka and from the start it was a wonderful... experience. When we walked in the first thing we noticed was the cool and hip atmosphere , which made the mood cozy. The host upfront was very friendly and sat us quickly. After being seated we were presently greeted by our servers Talbi and George. Bothof them were so affable and made us feel right at home. We first ordered the avocado spring rolls as and appetizer. At the timeof ordering dinner, I ordered the Kimchi BBQ burger, my wife had the bulgogi beef bowl, my father in law ordered the Hong Kongsweet and sour chicken and my mother law ordered the Utica square sushi roll. When the food came out , it fresh and the qualitywas exemplary. In fact I would recommend the BBQ kimchi burger for anyone who likes Korean fusion, and the Hong Kong sweet andsour if you are unsure what to order. The avocado springs rolls are a must for any with a taste for a fusion of oriental andHispanic flavors. But in truth, all of the dishes were simply wonderful. If you are looking to try out something that is outthe ordinary for your normal Friday night hangout or date night, this place is a must. Since it was my wife's birthday, theymade it special by bringing out a sea salt caramel gelato which was decadent in every way. My family and I look forward tocoming back and trying other dishes. I went for the Tuesday night special on Roka burgers. They're on special Tuesday night for $6. Tonight was the first time I had... been , and the restaurant is really cool looking. they have lots of ornate woodwork inside and it just looks really well done.The atmosphere is great. The hamburger was amazing. Like of all the different kind of takes I've had on hamburgers over theyears this, may be the best one. One thing is like there's two different kinds of sauce on the hamburger and I think forpresentation sake and it's an awesome presentation, they come separated I think it would be best to like kind of stir themtogether before you put the bun on the burger because then you don't take a bite of the straight wasabi. When it all gets downin there and mixed together it's just simply amazing. Their menu looks fantastic and if the quality of the burger is anyrepresentation of the rest of the food I'm sure it's superb. I plan to eat here as often as I can. One of the coolest vibes and decor in a restaurant I have found and definitely the best in Tulsa. I love asain art and decor, it... was really nice inside and out! The service was great and the place was really clean, bathroom was clean, and it wasn't verybusy for as nice as this place is. Good was good, we did pot stickers which we amazing. The lettuce wraps were awesome. Did 3rolls (314 roll, rainbow roll, amd tiger stripe) they were good but not anything special and being a big tuna fan o was hopingfor better tuna rolls. The sashimi was good and beautifully presented. Overall great atmosphere and place, I would like to trymore stuff on menu, but I did all the tuna rolls besides the spicy tuna and that's the biggest let down for me and only reasonthis place isn't 5 star. Sorta just okay takeout food that's presented nicely in a nice atmosphere. Noodles had an okay flavor but it wasn't as... flavorful or spicy as the menu said it was. The only thing that wasn't so great was the sushi roll. The rice texture andflavors were very close to deli-case sushi rolls. I'd say because of that it was over priced at $16 All in all it was okay, itdefinitely could've been worse! Service and atmosphere were great. Read more
