Decided to swing by after seeing several rave reviews.. must say, the lamb shawarma was absolutely incredible. Just teaming with... flavors. Born and raised in Saudi, I often crave authentic middle eastern fare.. I?m telling you, this was as close to a tasteof home as I?ve found.. . Enjoyed a conversation with one of the owners. I went to Shawkat's for the first time today for lunch and it was spectacular! I ordered the Jake's platter and I will be... getting it again soon. This place is an absolute GEM. As you can see i bulldozed through most of my food before taking a picture. I ate the chicken... kabobs and it came with pita bread, tabouli, hummus, and the rice. The flavors of the food are amazing and everything tastes sogood. For dessert i also had to buy the lemon blueberry vegan cake and the birds nest. I?ve been here a few times and they havenot disappointed me. I spoke with the two sisters today and they were so sweet.
