Lovely place and friendly service. Had Minso Soup, hotpot sticks, Lobster & fried rice, steak & fried rice with veggies, rice... wine...have some a ton of videos of the cooking method. Food was a bit salty though that was cooked on grill. Read more

Horrible, hot, cross contamination, fake squid patties as "calamari" server forgot everything everyone had, my friend asked 3... times for a refill and she took the cup and didn't bring it back for 20 minutes. After he had to remind her that she took it andnever brought it back. The hibachi guy himself was pretty good and funny. But the establishment itself was dingy run down andfalling apart. Read more

We’ve been coming here for well over 10 years, and Tyler just made the best cooked meal and experience we’ve ever had here! ... From now on we hope we can have him as our Chef! I wish there was more than 5 stars to leave! Read more

Went here with a small group of people. The experience was amazing, the food is cooked right in front of you, you choose what... dipping sauce you want, and how you want things cooked. The chef put on a show, with his skills and the way he made jokesthrough out. Didn't take too long to get the food. Don't come here if you're cheap, or not willing to spend money. Read more

Have always loved this place until tonight. Ordered an Oklahoma Roll, which was brought out and given to the table next to us.... It was then passed between 3 different people, one of which touched the food, before being given back to the waitress as theyhad not ordered it. She then looked at the ticket, realized it was the wrong table and walked around the corner and out ofsight. 15 seconds later she came back and presented me with the same roll that 3 other people that don’t work for therestaurant had handled. I told her I just saw and heard the entire interaction and I did not want food that a customer otherthan myself had physically touched. She then proceeded to lie and insinuate that it had gone straight from the chef to myself, and not to the other customer like myself, my wife, and another couple witnessed. She then left me with the roll and left anddidn’t once ask if I would like a replacement. I am very disappointed in a place that my wife and I have loved for so long andhave to say, after a blatant lie about a health code violation that I physically witnessed, I don’t plan to come back any timesoon. We took a large group for my nieces birthday and absolutely had a blast. The puns, jokes, and artistry of the chef were all... top-notch. My niece confidently announced that her next birthday dinner will also be at Tokyo Garden next year. Atmosphere iscozy, food is yummy. Definitely worth a try. Read more

Great staff, the chefs are great & really funny. Food taste absolutely amazing. The fire can get pretty large & extremely close... & hot, but the experience is great. Great place to take the entire family. The wait time can get pretty long for the hibachiarea, but if you are just eating sushi, the wait time is just a minute or 2. Pretty pricey place, but you get what you pay for.I love bringing the wife on sushi dates here, especially when the lights are dimmed. Some of the best sushi in Tulsa, handsdown. Read more

It is a nice place with friendly staff who are very patient and don't rush you. A reservation is best but isn't necessary if you... aren't wanting to sit with a crowd, which is recommended with younger kids unless they like the action. If you don't want to sitin the loud area with the live cooking, there is a secondary room off to the side that is for quiet dining and still looksgreat. The walls are decorated with grayscale painting and they have a few interesting looking statues. These sushi rolls arepriced very fairly, averaging around $1 per piece. Some of the more simple veggie rolls are only a few dollars too (less than$0.50 per piece). I got to see the grills where the chefs do the cooking. They are arranged in a rectangular "C" shape, withthe grills at the two ends and the center open for the chefs to work. They briefly shut off the overhead lighting when they aregoing to do a flare up so that it looks more spectacular. I got a nice photo of an orange flame later in the less busy part ofthe night. The entire restaurant is decorated with a nice blue lighting along the walls and this completely fits the atmosphere. And some of my food photos, there are specs of glowing blue because the light reflection off of the glaze was coming from thewalls rather than the ceiling. Ceiling lights are a nice warm light and not too bright but not too dark either. We can't wait togo back. Read more
