Wow, now that is some amazing chicken. The Mrs and I had the Foul Mouth along with the pulled chicken sandwich called "The... Roost", each with a side of wedges and macaroni. These chicken sandwiches were absolutely amazing. The roost was some of themost tender chicken I have ever had on a sandwich or anywhere for that matter. The foul Mouth was almost the perfect chickensandwich. The sauce and slaw was excellent and gave the sandwich the proper amount of kick in every bite. Wedges were decentsize and tasty, the macaroni was very good as well. I also added a side of the habanero oil and covered the roost with it andadded a little to my ketchup for an added hit of spice. There is also a full bar with every drink you would expect. There is abit of outside seating and a drive thru for those on the go. All and all a great place to stop to get some greatchicken. Addendum Had the tenders and the pulled chicken sandwich again tonight. Tenders are everything everyone says theyare, SUPER tender and man do they taste amazing. Chicken sandwich was just as good as it was the first time I had it. Enjoy! Read more

We had drove by this place dozens of times and had always said "hmm we should try that sometime!" And finally we did! We were... actually planning on going to Taziki's (next door) when we smelled some fresh fried chicken. We decided to come over and try itout. The staff was super friendly. I got the chicken tenders and fries. Honestly, I was not expecting it to be all that, BUT Iwas wrong! The chicken was sooo flavorful and juicy. It was delicious! Everything was fresh and hot. Atmosphere was casual andlively. Would most definitely return. ???? Read more

These are the best chicken tenders I've ever had! They are totally soft and moist inside and delicately crispy, crunchy on the... outside. Not like some I've had where the crust is so crunchy it hurts the roof of your mouth and the inside is dry andstringy. I like the Tender dipping sauce. And the fries are delicious, perfectly seasoned. I've also tried the mac andcheese, which is a little chewy, not mushy and plenty of thick cheese. Aside from the best chicken, I'm also writing this togive a shout out to Melissa, who was working the front when we were there! I've never had such good customer service, whetherfrom a fast food place, or fine dining. She took our order, made suggestions, then brought us our food. And even though thisplace is order at the counter, she also acted as a server, checking on us at least 3 times to see if we needed anything, andcleared our plates that we had finished. She was totally upbeat, friendly, constantly on the move and I could tell that sheloved serving people and giving them a good experience. I told her this when we finished our meal and she responded that sheloves her job and loves brightening peoples' day whenever she can! And she did! Read more

I do not say this lightly... But Waldo's has THE best tenders in Tulsa that I've tried to date. They are true to their namesake,... as they are extremely soft. I usually get the buffalo as dipping sauce, which is delicious. I can't attest to the beerselection, as my wife and I don't drink, but some of my friends said it was "pretty good" for what that's worth. All the sideswe've had so far have been great. I honestly have nothing negative so say about Waldo's. They've knocked it out of the parkevery time we've been. The staff has always been awesome, upbeat, and friendly. Service is quick and efficient, and they busthe tables at a great timing so as to not make you feel rushed. Keep on rocking, Waldo's! We'll see you soon! Read more

Okay...this is a mixed review, starting at the beginning. Note: this was our first time at Waldo's. Not knowing what to expect,... we walked in the door, saw that there was an arrow pointing us to the order line. We starting making our way I to the line, butI noticed there was no menu on the wall. Apparently, you have to pick one up as you enter. Next, as we were in line and stilltrying to decide, we were herded to the side to have someone take our order. I felt uncomfortable trying to order while blockingthe line. The whole ordering felt uncomfortable and rushed, as I didn't feel we had the time to ask questions. Once we finished,we were given our drink cups and found a table to sit. For the remainder of the visit, we didn't have any non-food issues (otherthan not seeing a sign clearing indicating where the restrooms were). Before I write about the food, I must add a disclaimer: Ican't do spicy food. I have a low tolerance for "hot" foods. My wife and both got the 1/4 chicken. She liked it. Me? I likedthe flavor as well, but the spices had my mouth burning. Not so much that I couldn't finish the meal, but enough to make methink about a visit to Waldo's. Fortunately, the drink refills are self-serve (except the lemonades). The meat itself was goodand not dry. The fries I had also had some kick to them. My daughters also enjoyed their salads and sandwich. The biggestcomplaint, if any, is the start of the visit. My suggestion would be to remove one of the 8 television sets and put up amenu. Overall, not a bad place to go. It's just not my cup of tea...which I really needed to help wash down the spices. Read more

I have had one of the fried chicken salads and I recently tried the chicken-n-biscuits. The salad was tasty. The tomatoes and... cucumbers are cut thickly, so be prepared. The chicken and biscuits are listed as snacks, but it is meal size. I have not triedthe other chicken style they serve, so I did not give them 5 stars based on that. I would try Waldo's again.
