Arrived at 7:15 pm and did not leave till 9 pm. Me and a few friends decided to just get some cheese fries and drinks just as a... snack. Food was fine you can?t really mess it up until we started paying and asking for to-go boxes. Asked our waitress for themand she said ?of course? but did not bring them. We then asked a blonde waitress with black gauges ?can we get to-go boxes? andshe said ?yea let me grab them?. She then asked the table behind us ?can I get you guys any to-go boxes?? We had to wave down aDIFFERENT waitress who finally got us boxes and we abruptly left. The last entire hour was basically asking for to-goboxes. Love this restaurant but this was an awful experience. The waitress was a complete joy. Very attentive, sweet and had a sincere smile, always ready to assist. My dad and I ordered the... salmon, sweet potato, which is delicious. Butter and Cinnamon makes the sweet potatoes/yams a great side dish and, oh so tender,and well seasoned asparagus. Almost forget about the small, dark rye bread loafs with churned, sweet butter that is given aspart of the meal. The bread/butter is also well made and very soft. There are no words to describe our server Devin! We stopped on our way through Tupelo this evening and were absolutely amazed... with our experience. The food was perfect but our server Devin was literally not of this world! We have never experienced thiskind of service anywhere! He was so in tune with us, kind, attentive, aware, he never missed a single beat even though therestaurant was loaded down with guests. He gave us his undivided attention from communicating well, to promptly bringing ourappetizer and drinks and keeping us informed of our food, to the perfect amount of checking on us, and even a touch of smalltalk, we did not have to ask for one single thing, he had everything right there, down to the most minute detail. It was likehe could read our minds. We also observed that all of his guests were being treated exactly the same way with the most genuinekindness! Unforgettable! May God bless this sweet gentleman!
