Oh my gosh… our first time here this evening and EVERYTHING was outstanding! Starting with the host, Bobby greeting us by... name (we had reservations) and seating us in the most comfortable booth imaginable for a restaurant. Our beautiful and friendlywaitress, Marlie, was pleasant and made great recommendations. We ordered Braised Short Ribs and Blackened Catfish and was notdisappointed!. Food was so awesome, drinks were awesome, service was awesome. Our waitress Jennifer was very knowledgeable about the menu... selections and drinks. She made sure we were enjoyed our food. The booth we sat on was big enough to sit about 6 people. Thelights were dim and intimate. Loved every minute of it! They do have tables to sit large families as well. I recommend thisplace if u ever visit Tupelo, MS. Read more
Shrimp n grits minus the grits. The quail dish had way more grits than an entree with grits in the name. Chicken Cordon Bleu was... extremely salty to the point I couldn't eat it. However, I gave three stars for the snicker ravioli. It was superb. Read more
Very nice and food is superb. I had a 16 Oz steak cooked medium. It was perfect. The sauce that they include with it is out of... this world. My wife had the Shrimp and grits and it was also awesome. My wife and I dined at Woody’s for our anniversary and man, what a great place! Well worth the money. We had crawfish bites... for an appetizer and they were out of this world. The Bison burger was awesome, and the ribeye steak with “the Roy” was oneof the best things I’ve ever had. Even their brussel sprouts were delicious. Our waitress was great, and the rest of the staffwere courteous and attentive as well. Will definitely eat there again. Read more
I’ve gotta be honest. We ended up selecting Woody’s based off a recent negative review. Or more accurately…the owner’s... rebuttal. The food is delicious. The staff is great. The atmosphere is inviting. They do a really good job of making you feellike they are simply here for you. We will absolutely be back, and next time I hope we can meet the owners of this wonderfulfamily-owned restaurant. Read more
We had reservations and was better by name. One seated, the waitress was super nice and helpful on menu options. The food didn't... take too long and it was exactly how ordered. Afterwards, the karaoke was surprisingly very well diverse. Atmosphere was full oflaughter and positive the whole night. Read more
