I?ve always liked the quality and taste of everything I?ve purchased there, the only complaint I have is the customer service. I... don?t typically write reviews or complain but I?ve been in a couple times recently and each time the service hasn?t been verynice. This last time just didn?t sit well with me. My son and I went in about 3:35 to order some coffee/blended drinks. Wenoticed they were serving lunch until 4 so we decided to eat as well. The girl who helped me seemed irritated with everyquestion I asked. Made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. She made it very clear she was the only person working thecafe side and our order would take a while. I said ok no problem. She then had a couple more orders walk in. Maybe 5 minutesgo by and I had noticed our food was sitting at the counter so I walked up to it. She then said loudly across the coffee bar?it?s going to take me while still? with an irritated tone ( the side salad wasn?t finished ). I said no worries and waited. I work in customer service so I understand being the only one doing multiple things by yourself and I had no problem with thewait. It?s just the way she communicated to me as a customer was extremely rude and made it very clear she was overwhelmedbeing on her own. This isn?t the first time either one of the staff seems irritated or impatient with taking an order whetherit?s on the coffee side or pastry side. Like I said I understand having a bad day or being overwhelmed working on your own. Butthe way you communicate that can make all the difference. Read more

This really looks like the village bakery off Mchenry Modesto.. Found out it once was affiliated, but no longer. There was a... plethora of pastries. You must see pics. The place was busy inside making cakes, and taking orders. Good quality yummies We gotthe cherry plate pastry and the specialty coffee ie: Carmel macchiato, cafe mocha were made to what we like.As always, postwherever your palate takes you. Read more
Olde Tyme is awesome. Lots of parking outside. Dining has indoor and outdoor seating, or you can take it togo. They have such... nice and helpful staff that are always busy working to serve and bake. Wow! Just frickin' WOW! That might be the best baked anything I've ever eaten in my entire life! We bought a few things, I... had the Apple coffee cake. This place is way beyond a good review. Way beyond 5 stars. When you walk in you immediately wanteverything Just because of the artistry involved, And then you taste it...
