There were 5 of us. We all ordered something different. I ordered steak and scallops. Two of us had the steak. We were asked how... we wanted our steak cooked. We both ordered med-rare but got well done instead. Mine was to tough to chew and left most of it.The scallops were okay. I had mixed vegetables that were okay also. The "Japanese" noodles were like lo mein in any Chineserestaurant. Yes Chinese. The kids enjoyed watching the hibachi cooking. It wasn't that bad of a meal but I won't be returning. Read more

Today my daughter and I went to Yoshimoto for lunch. We had the pick two sushi rolls from the lunch menu. I had the spicy crab... and the Kani roll with a salad. My daughter had the avocado and cucumber roll with soup. My salad came out with way too muchdressing. After I informed the waiter he brought me another salad and a side of dressing. My daughter and I were bothsatisfied to the point where she wants to come back one a week. Overall 5 stars. Thanks for the good service and good sushi. Read more

Sushi ???? was 3 out of 5. Vegetable strir fry 5 out of 5. Filet mignon was chopped which I do not prefer but was cooked very... well- perfectly medium 5 out 5. Sweet wine.. will add photo ????worth every penny(inexpensive) but good $ purchased abottle! Seaweed salad was OK 2/5 Miso soup 2/5 Saki 5/5 Needs more seating options! Birthday Song is Obnoxiously loud. Kindof ruin's dining experience for everyone else in the restaurant. It was played 3 or 4 times during dinner. Manger did check onour table and delivered wine. That was nice! Waiter 2/5 - seating issue, messed up 1 sushi order but tasted OK..so it was notsent back.walked away prior to finishing orders. Yoshimoto is one of the places me and my boyfriend LOVE to go to on the weekends. I’ve done multiple birthdays and dinners... there in the past and have NEVER had a problem with them. This past Saturday (yesterday) our food was absolutely disgusting andtasteless. The chef we had burnt our vegetables, which were still hard … but burnt. We’ve had this chef in the past and healso didn’t cook our chicken all the way through. My boyfriends parents have ALSO walked out on this chef because of aprevious bad experience. Two of us went for an early dinner on Saturday. The restaurant is inside a busy plaza in the corner. Walking in they have... displayed pictures of their customers I'm assuming on their birthdays. We were seated promptly for a regular table and there wasa few other tables there too. They have a small bar area and two sections of hibachi tables available. Our service was attentiveand we ordered: 2 waters, hibachi chicken and steak combo, miso soup, sweet potato roll, California roll, and a pink lady roll.Water was refilled constantly which we loved and the soups were very hot. My fiancé really enjoyed his steak and chicken. Hesays the rice was okay, but could have been fried more. For the noodles, he says he would of asked for another portion becauseit was so small. He has a shellfish allergy and explained that to them and they listened. YAY! For me, the California roll wasvery good. Sadly, the sweet potato in the roll was not cooked and it was hard as can be. So, I did not eat that and asked foranother California roll. The pink lady roll said it had real crab in it, so I got excited and ordered that. It was good, but Iprobably wouldn't order it again because of the sauce that was inside the roll. Atmosphere was nice, clean. The bathrooms wereclean which is always important. Had a great time last night for dinner with my family! Our chef was so nice and funny. The food tasted amazing and had so much... flavor.
