Visited here Sunday June 23,2022 with my family to celebrate my sister?s birthday. We had a 45 minute wait due to it being 12 of... us and the place being crowded. The staff was friendly the owner held our cake that we bought in in a safe place until we wereready for it. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I had the mimosa trio, SBC omelette and fire roasted grits. The gritswere okay, the omelette was absolutely delicious! The mimosas were fresh and they were delicious as well, not spectacular butstill good. I love the atmosphere and overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I sampled the fried green tomatoes and bananasfoster other family members had and they were both delicious. I will come again and would certainly recommend Brick and Spoon toanyone looking for a fun laid back clean place to eat with good food that?s not overly priced. Read more

The shrimp and grits and parm truffle fries was overhype from social media... I drove up from Birmingham and the food was okay.... I had better shrimp and grits from Big Bad Breakfast. There was no Southern kick in their grits! It was missing the flavorfulbutter/oil compared if you went to Jacks and ordered some grits. Overall dry grits with a garlic tint. My truffle fries weredull and cold. Disappointed for light drizzle of Parmesan and no other herbs when it?s suppose to be truffle fries! Also, frieswere cold when brought to my table. Look at the upper right corner of my picture. Fries were such a disappointment. Read more

My husband and I went for brunch on Valentine's Day and there was hardly anyone there. We ordered the biscuits and gravy to... start and it was a bit cold to be honest. However, I had the stuffed French toast sliders and they were KILLER. Super on thesweet side, so paired with a side of bacon was perfect. We also enjoyed the mimosa trio. They were very fresh and tasty! We'ddefinitely go back again. Read more

It seems like a local favorite and you will easily relate once you visit the establishment. It was worth the wait time for... sure. The ambience is friendly and so are the wait-staff. We will definitely go back again and we happily recommend it. Read more

This restaurant is amazing, this was my second time visiting. The first was when it was first open. And to be honest, it was a... mediocre experience. However, they truely redeemed themselves! First, I reluctantly went the morning after the Alabama/LSU game. And even with a crowded restaurant and line to the curb, our server was able to give us individual service, she was witty withus and she did an amazing job. The food was better than I remember. I started with the Cafe Beignets, the strawberry marmalade(this is seasonal) was an awesome introduction pair with a classic mimosa. The main event was the Killer Creole Omelet, O. M.G! It was so delicious, if you have seafood allergies, I don't recommend or bring your epi pen! Read more

Awesome breakfast spot with tons of great options to choose from. The waitress was very nice and quick with everything. We... started with the beignets which were delicious. Then the whole table ordered the killer creole omelet, big portion andabsolutely delicious. They have a counter on the wall for how many Bloody Mary?s have been consumed I?ll be adding to thosenumbers. We will be back to try more! Read more
