Food was good, waitress was friendly and good. The reason for 3 stars is the poor service. We were ignored at hostess station... and when finally waited on were told 40 minute wait. The restaurant wasn?t even 1/3 full, many empty tables but only 2 serverson duty so they weren?t seating people. I would not think this is up to Cracker Barrel standards. Hostess was not very friendlyat all. We would have gone somewhere else but we were passing through town and restaurant was right next to our motel. Cracker Barrel is our #1 restaurant when traveling. My family loves it too. Every Cracker Barrel we dine in is always a... pleasant experience. Staff are very pleasant and easy to get along with and they have great interaction with their customer's,that's a + in my book. The food is always hot and I love the new recipes Cracker Barrel is coming out with to add something newto their menus. Read more

was very disappointed. normally one of my favorite breakfast spot. everything tasted rushed, not cooked thoroughly. it wasn't... packed so I'm not sure why it was like that. pancakes weren't fluffy like they usually are. I got the new cheesecake pancakes.the pancakes didn't taste fresh so it took away from the flavor. service was good though. no complaints there. Read more

The wait for the actual table wasn?t long at all maybe 10 minutes. The waitress came and greeted us and got our drinks. She was... sat another table shortly after us and went and got their drinks and whenever she came back to proceeded to take their foodorder before ours. It took her another 10-15 minutes to come to our table to take our order. Our food took almost an hour tocome out and whenever it came out most of it was either cold or lukewarm. She kept forgetting other small stuff to grab for ourtable. We had two separate tickets for the table and it took the kitchen 10-20 for to bring out half of the tables food due tothe fact that she had put it in the computer system at separate times. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and Hashbrowncasserole and whenever it came out the plate was hot but the food wasn?t. It was like it was sitting under a heater for toolong. The casserole was so cold I couldn?t eat it. The potatoes were also cold and they had forgotten the gravy that wassupposed to go with it and by the time they brought it out it was too cold to eat. This is a pretty normal Cracker Barrel! The staff were friendly, the food came out quickly, and the portions were big. There are... a few things I do need to note though. The hash brown casserole and the mashed potatoes were just slightly warm. They shouldhave been hot! The mashed potatoes were good but should have had more milk in them because they were falling apart. Mashedpotatoes should be fluffy and in one piece! Our waiter also forgot our biscuits. :,( The country fried steak wasn?t the bestwhich really disappointed me. It tasted like straight hamburger meat with a bread coating. It wasn?t great? Other than that,the rest of the food tasted great and I was full only eating 1/2 of the country fried steak and all the sides. The prices werealso fair. Gift shop was cute. Read more

The last two experiences has not been good and I love this restaurant . I arrived at 7:26am, placed to go order at 7:33am it was... not busy and multiple employees so I don?t think staffing was an issue. I didn?t receive my order (2 Grandma Samplers) until8:10am which the waiter apologized for the wait. When I got home and opened my food I was very disappointed the food was not hotor even warm like it had been sitting. If I?m going to wait over 30 minutes I would like for my food to be hot.
