We went to Midtown looking for frutta bowl but was surprised that it has changed over to fruit lovely! We went ahead and decided... to give it go and we are soooo happy that we did! We have been to this location about 10 times within the last two weeks and Ialways get the "Kiwi Bee Friends" add strawberries and peanut butter and y'all it's soooooo good! Can't wait to try the avocadotoast next time! My fiancé had one of the açaí base options and I?ll have to say, I don?t feel like the açaí itself is asgood as it use to be. Had a weird experience here today? I come in almost everyday and I always love the atmosphere but one of the ?managers? has a... bit of an ego issue. I asked to get a smoothie with my bowl using POINTS. The girl taking my order was super sweet and wasapparently a manger but had no idea how to do that. Then some other girl looks up from her phone, rudley interrupts and also hasno idea what she?s doing. They sit there for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to use my points and so finally I recommendthey get the owner/manager who helped me with my points literally the DAY before. I said it in a kind voice and it was just arecommendation considering he had told me that he had not trained some of the staff to do points yet since they were so new.When I mentioned this to her she gave me a rude look and completely disregards what I said and goes ?yeah so I actually am amanager? (never said she wasn?t?) then continues to sit there tapping random buttons on her Ipad again for another long periodof time STILL having no idea what she was doing until the girl taking my order prior had to just give me the smoothie for freesince they couldn?t figure out the points. That same ?manager? made my order completely wrong and the bowl was awful for thefirst time ever. Every time I go in there and she takes my order she?s given customers attitude as if she owns the place. Notthat this matters but she?s the girl with tattoos and glasses. Enjoyed my fresh smoothie made by Taylor & Madeline at the Frutta Bowls located in the Midtown Mall here in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.... Took pictures to show there is some room to relax and enjoy your meal and company in case you go in with family or friends. WishI could have shown the food bar and all the different types fruit and granola that helped made the Acai & Pitaya bowls and alsohelp make the toast and oatmeal items they offer as well as Kale bowls. But the window was covered my stickers from donationsgiven to a cause to help, ? Feed the children?. My favorite is the smoothies. They offer one called, ?Tropical ?. It hasPineapple, Mango, and Banana in it. Mine was made with Pineapple, Strawberries, and Bananas. It hit the spot for sure. They dooffer coffee so on my next trip, I will get some cold brew coffee. I live out of town and travel often. I love smoothies and had been in Alabama for over two weeks before having my first... smoothie. I was extremely excited, the atmosphere was different, I liked the color scheme. I even got one of the bowls they hadwhich was delicious! The Kale bowl was so good. The smoothie is what makes me write the review...LET ME REPEAT MYCELLF MY KALEBOWL WAS DELICIOUS....HOWEVER this is a smoothie place and the smoothie was literally the worst smoothie I ever had. It was themost bland smoothie I never knew existed. I felt bad for bringing my friend here and if we hadn't left before tasting them eyewould've demanded a refund. It hurts to say this, write this but it was bad & I don't see how they are still selling thosesmoothies. It tasted like a small amount of fruit blended with ice.... eye even went back today for another bowl. They seen Igot my smoothie from across the way today. Couldn't make that same mistake again.
