Food was tasty, although one dish was extremely salty. Service was good and people were friendly.
We live in abilene took a 20 minute drive to get there and we didn't have a reservation. Told us to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a... table and all the reservations to clear out. Went back in 15 minutes later the guy didn't even recognize us and asked if we hada reservation told him no that we were the people with 4 he said OK let's see what we can do. He waited on a few tables cameback and turned us away because they didn't have enough food. Over half the tables were empty. Not very good customer servicethey could of told us before we had to wait the 15 minutes. Been there before they do have really good food just not greatcustomer service. Not going back anytime soon. A little out of the way, but well worth it. Plenty of home-style food choices and company. Our server graciously showed us the... ropes and explained the choices ahead of us. There was a small gift shop with t-shirts and other small gifts by the guest signin book. We had time after our Sunday brunch to enjoy the nature walk outside the farmhouse. Quaint little place in the country. Food is so-so - most everyone in my party ended up with indigestion.
