Oh my word! Everything we ate was delicious!! We had the waffle bites and candied bacon for an appetizer. They were both quite... tasty. I had the grilled cheese and the Superman salad for my entree. This place is awesome. Beautiful downtown area. No parking meters are a plus! The portions are Hulk-sized! I ordered the extreme... veggie omelet which came with hash browns, which weren't the kind of shredded, greasy, hash browns I pictured. They were nicelittle potatoes, lightly fried I suppose, but not too greasy. They were really good. The side of greens was a nice little saladof sorts with a delicious honey mustard style sauce. It was great as well. The omelette, was so good. Just like I like to makethem at home, but bigger. Chock-full of some of my favorite veggies- squash and zucchini and caramelized onions and some roastedred peppers. Nice and cheesy. I could not finish the whole meal. You definitely get your money's worth! I ordered Sub Zerocakes to go for breakfast the next day. No ice shower here, just delicious blueberries and lemon. (The picture I am attaching isin the to go box a little bit later, I am sure the presentation at the restaurant would look way better than this picture!) Thestaff was amazing as well. Everyone that I saw there was young, and it really made me happy to see a crew of young guy andgirls, probably all in their early twenties taking care of business. Not too long ago, I was that age. My son is that age. Youdon't get a lot of respect from older people at that age, you have to earn it, and these guys and girls are doing a great job ofthat! Overall this is a cool spot, especially for families with young kids. They have the superhero theme throughout the restaurant.... They have lots of booths with large dividers that keeps you from hearing a ton of noise from other tables, and let’s yourgroup have a more intimate experience. We went during an event that was going on, and they (like many restaurants) wereunderstaffed so we had a bit of a wait. They did not take names down and that frustrated several people. We weren’t in a rushthough, so we waited and enjoyed some great food! Bourbon waffles and the candyd bacon egg sandwich were our choices plus somemimosas. Read more
Visually impressive food but just about everything is sweet, from the cocktails, the burgers, the fried cauliflower and even the... Mac and cheese! But I know plenty of people like sweet but if you want more savory flavors this may not be the place foryou. The bar also uses entirely fake sugary "juices" that make them all insanely sweet, get a beer, wine or liquor instead. Read more
I'm new to the area and have been told to come try the food at Superhero Chefs. I decided to do a late lunch while getting my... vehicle registered. I had the War Eagle Burger and I'm in love. Superhero Chefs was SUPERB! The food was delicious. The wait staff were friendly and helpful in choosing our entrees. The food... presentation was on point. The decor was bright and colorful …..And the restroom was clean too. They have many fun and greatchoices on the menu so we will definitely be back. We ordered: Wings and waffles Scriddle- stacked stuffed pancakes, withcandied bacon Southern Eggrolls And the strawberry peach lemonade will be a go to for my family. Read more
Hidden gem in Tuscumbia!! The kids chose this place, and we were delighted they did. Because of COVID, we had to wait 20 mins... for a table as only 1 waitress was working. I was hesitant when I read the menu and checked out the prices. However, the foodwas spectacular!!! HUGE portion sizes, everything well seasoned, amazing presentation, and delicious flavor. We ordered thestuffed granola encrusted French toast, 1/2 superquesadilla 1/2 salad (Superhero), the Juggernaut, the War Eagle burger (huge),and the Superchef breakfast platter (this one did come in a smaller portion ????????) I'm so glad we came with our kids and weall thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Read more
We love Superhero Chefs! The breakfast nachos are top notch, and the wings and waffles are the best I've had. This is one of our... favorite breakfast places in the area. This isn't Waffle House. You will get a great presentation and great food! Definitelyrecommend. Read more
