I’m a huge fan of Malaysian food. When I lived in Japan, I would fly to KL just to eat. I’m sorry, but the food here is just... so-so. I’ve had takeout from here and it was half-decent, so today I went to dine in, hoping it would be better. I had theChicken Rendang lunch special. The chicken was too tough (overcooked?) and mostly bone, with very little meat. The soup theygive you is that typical American hot & sour soup (not even a real ???), and the “salad” is some of those fried noodles(from a can?). Read more

Fantastic service and delicious, authentic food. We had a great time for my sister’s 45th birthday. They even sang a song for... her. But when she made a wish, the candle didn’t understand her — being Malaysian and all. Read more

I ordered these on UberEats and the food was fantastic! Lots of noodle on the Laksa which was spicy (medium). The Nasi Lemak has... a great combination of all good stuff from the rice to the spicy anchovy! The shrimps on Char Kway Teow are yummy! Woulddefinitely come back to taste these authentic Malay food. I love Malaysian food and have been wanting to come here for awhile. During our visit only half the restaurant was open to... guests. They had a nice flow of people coming and going. We were fortunate to not have to wait. Service was great and so was thefood. We ordered the… Nasi Lemak - better here than most places I’ve tried. Their spicy sambal is really the star. Elevatesthe dish. We asked for extra on the side and added it to everything. Char Kway Teow- big portion, nicely flavored, and noodleswere cooked perfectly chewy. Curry Laksa - also big portion. Noodles were a little soft for my preference and the broth wasslightly bland. Looked jammed packed with flavor but was on the milder side. Roti - delicious! Half Hainan Chicken - moist andsoft three sauces. We were full off everything else so we took this home. Read more

We wanted to try Zov's Bistro and found this restaurant next to it and packed of people. I smelled all the delicious food and... was surprised that yelp never recommended this restaurant in Tustin. We ended up changing our mind to give it a try since Ihave never tried Malaysia cuisine and love trying something new. We ordered calamari, crab rangoon, and a cup of hot and soursoup as appetizers. It was the best fried calamari we ever had, super flavorful and crispy good quality calamari. It was notover breaded or double fried like a lot of fried calamari from other restaurants. Also the best fresh hot and sour soup I haveever had, the peppers the egg and the vinegar just exactly the right portion. The rangoons were basic with fake crab, but a goodportion at a great price. For entrees, we ordered Beef Rendang and the seafood clay pot curry with coconut rice & chiken rice. You can choose normal steam rice, brown rice, coconut rice and chicken rice. OMG, the coconut rice is like a dessert, smelldelicious and it is such a great taste. Seafood clay pot is sooooooo good with fish, scallop, tofu, bunch of veggies andeggplant all in a spicy and savory broth. The beef rendang is soft, flavorful, and great quality. The curry spices usedperfectly complimented the meat without overpowering it. It you want to try extremely good Malaysia food!! Definitely give thisplace a try. Read more

Awesome food. Must try. I was really craving some authentic Malaysian food and this is the closest one to San Diego. I drove an... hour to try the food and this is something that I plan to do regularly in future. Murtabak is good, very meaty. The specialtydrinks are must try like Rambutan ice, Lychee ice or the Teh Tarik. Daging Kecap Manis was too good. I am sure all the menu isgood. Everything we tried were delicious. The place gets busy, very busy. Book ahead of time. Read more

This is a good place to try southeastern Asia food. Of course it cannot compare to Hawker center in Singapore, but it is okay... enough. Service is great. All the waiters is very helpful. I would recommend chicken satay and Gado Gado. Price is decent too. Read more

A really great place for Malaysian and Chinese fusion cuisine. The food was really great but it was a bit on the pricey side.... Also it was a chilly evening and we were oddly seated outside without any heaters. Other than that 10/10 would recommend! Read more
