Reviews for Daphne's in Tustin, CA
Took my little one there for a lunch. Thought I'd give the franchise a try after so many of them closing down. We were tue first... customers there for lunch..ordered a kids Gyro plate w fries. Gyro was fine but the fires OMG they were a DAY OLD literally justscraps from the night before and all old and crusty. I'm a cook at home and know how to make some elaborate food and I know whensomething is old. Just use fresh fries please. It's not hard. Read more
The gyro meat was dry (and tasted old), the chicken kabob was very bland, and the Greek salad was overpriced. We needed to put... side sauces on everything to make it taste like something. However, the spanikopita was excellent, but $8 for four bite-sizedpieces is thievery. Read more
The food was fresh and delicious, worth the seemingly long wait so give them a chance. Of course the prices have been affected... the same as everywhere and just like gas. Read more
Ordered takeout and no sauce was given for three gyro wraps. I had to remind the cashier about the drink that was included in... our order. Food was fairly good regardless, but for the price I expected more thought from staff Read more
Good food, fresh, priced okay - I'll pay more for quality. Big drawback: several dirty tables though I was one of only two... people there. They weren't busy, should've been tidy. Read more
Haven't had Daphne's in years. This location right by the Target at the District reminded me of how yummy the food is at... Daphne's. I have no idea how it compares to smaller mom and pops Greek food restaurants but I enjoyed it. Got the combo platethat comes with seasoned rice, veggies, a skewer of chicken and some shaved meat, pita bread wedges and dipping sauces. .. thefood was delicious. I'll be coming back for sure. The server who took my order kept calling me "boss" lol. I find thatwhether he means it or not, it preps him mentally to give good customer service. Read more
I always come here at least two times a week. Especially on Wednesday for street pita day. I Think the street pitas are like... $1.79 or something like that. We always have the chicken street pita and the fries are my usual. The rice is especially good.Staff always nice and helpful. Read more
Drove 30 minutes to get the lemon chicken soup after I had been sad about the one next to my house closing down. I absolutely... love this place and the soup is really to die for! Could eat it everyday! Got a huge bowl and like 20 pieces of pita for only$15! Definitely would recommend Read more
